I guess I could look it up, but you guys are probably more helpful :)

If I read correctly, I can take an empty sippy cup or bottle thru security, then buy juice or water once through the check points, is that right?

Ds uses powdered formula, can I take it through security, then mix with water bought after the security check?

Cell phones and cameras..I am not worried about the cell phone, but I have a really expensive camera that I want to carry on and not check as luggage, can you still take those on board?

Thanks in advance everyone, we leave in 22 days and I couldn't get much more excited!!

You are right! We will be doing the same thing with the sippy cup for DS. After the security check point you can buy something to drink. The powder formula is OK as well as the camera, cell phones.

Hey we'll be there at the same time!

That's correct. You won't have any trouble with your electronic devices (we flew in September and took laptop, cell phones, and cameras thru no problem).

Effective Tuesday, September 26, TSA Is Adjusting The Ban On Liquids, Aerosols And Gels

There are two major changes:

1. Travelers may now carry through security checkpoints travel-size toiletries (3 ounces or less) that fit comfortably in ONE, QUART-SIZE, clear plastic, zip-top bag.
2. After clearing security, travelers can now bring beverages and other items purchased in the secure boarding area on-board aircraft.

At the checkpoint travelers will be asked to remove the zip-top bag of liquids and place it in a bin or on the conveyor belt. X-raying separately will allow TSA security officers to more easily examine the declared items.
and in the "traveling with children" section
Baby formula and breast milk are allowed in your carry-on baggage or personal items.

I couldn't see anything specific about diaper cream so I assume it's like other creams and must be 3 oz or less? I honestly have no idea how big the tube it! Guess I'll make sure it's 3 oz. I traveled this weekend with a 4 oz bottle of my favorite lotion and I had to toss it.

Last time I flew was after the baggie rule was started, and a security agent told me I could have liquids in the boy's sippies as long as I declared it. :confused3 I thought he was wrong so I kept them empty on the return flight - his sippies are 10 or 12 ounces! I used water from a water fountain right inside security to fill his. (Just sippies, not formula.)

Diaper cream, I'm paranoid because he tends to get red when he sits for a long time, so I lather him up on flights. I talked to my doctor and pharmacy, and they wrote up a prescription for A&D. I purchased the A&D out-of-pocket and the pharmacy attached prescription labels to the tube and box for me. Now it's a medical need and they can't argue it. :)

BTW: we'll also be there that week!
