My almost 6 yo daughter and I have reservations for the GF Princess Tea Party for Mother's Day. She doesn't know and I hope I can keep the surprise. Can anyone tell me what the cost is with tax and gratuity and what is served for the adult food? Thank you!

I am not sure which tea you are talking about. They do have a Alice in Wonder Land tea party at the GF but no adults are allowed. It's a kids only event. They also have a tea room at the GF where you order off a menu. There is also an American doll pricess party that is like 200.00 but I am not sure where it is located. You might want to check your reservation to make sure you have reserved what you want.

The cost is $200 for an adult and 1 child. :earseek: I have never been and am still on the fence about sending my wife and 2 daughters. That would run about $325. I've heard nothing but good things about it.....

I think that's insane that Disney wants that much money for a "tea". Even if it was a huge buffet style meal... $200 for an adult and child is outrageous. So a family of 4 would be $400? It's not like you're having dinner with the President or anything... sorry... I love Disney, but it should be illegal how much they charge for some things. I mean, how family friendly is an establishment when that price point excludes 85% of average Americans??

When DD4 and I went in August, it came out to either $211 or $213 including tax and tip. It may be expensive, but it's much more than just tea. We had a great time and I thought it was well worth the cost.

HI! I have reservations for Mothers Day also. When you made your reservations they billed your credit card. If it's just the 2 of you then it is like 216.00 with tax.

I agree that it is very, very expensive; that said, I will say that I've been walking past the Tea Room when the tea is in session, and let me tell you--you sure get your money's worth! Aurora presides at the Tea in her pink dress. There are real rose petals strewn all over the floor as you enter; the room is decorated for an enchanted event, and judging from the singing of the little girls and their moms and the happy faces, I'm guessing they had a ball. The little girls faces were adorable (dare I say, enraptured?) and they all wore their little princess dresses. People in the lobby of the GF were watching all the fun and enjoying it. It may be very expensive, but the room was at full capacity, so sobody's buying into it. Any little princess I would buy this for would have to be a very special, well-behaved little lady, and, might I add, very appreciative of this gift.

I did this for my niece in July. And to be honest she isn't always the perfect little lady - she is 4 and has a bit of attitude...but that day she was totally capitivated by the experience. I have posted the review on many of the Princess tea threads if anyone wants to do a search.

It is expensive but I am so glad I did it for her. The pictures we have of the day are unlike anything I have ever seen. She was mesmorized.

I haven't been yet and sure the price is scary but i'm sure wanting to take my lil princess. Little girls are only little girls for such a short time. I know my DD would love it. I just need to scrape up the money!

Do the teas book up quickly? I am past my 90 days mark and have been kinda wishy washy about doing the tea. I know that my 4 yr old would love it. We'll be there the last week in April - do you think I could still get a reservation?
