I have 3 questions about making reservations for around New Year's.

1. I know that MS is open only certain hours, but I can't find them listed anywhere. What time is it open tomorrow?

2. We want to split our stay at VB 12/30 and 12/31, and then move on to our home SSR for 1/1-1/4. So, as I understand it, I can make reservation for 1/1 - 1/4 now, and then have to wait until the end of May to make the other reservation at VB, right?

3. For the VB reservation, should I call day by day, or is it likely that I can get it at the 7 month timeframe by just making one call on May 31? Also, is it May 31 that I can call, or do I have to wait until June 1?

1. MS is open 9:00 - 5:30 EDT tomorrow.

That is correct.

Your check-out date for VB is 1/1, so you can call on June 1 at the earliest for both days, or May 31 if going day by day. I am not familiar with VB booking patterns but New Year's Eve is a very busy time for DVCers at WDW so I would plan on going day by day...doesn't hurt!
