Hi. My birthday is on October 30th and my husband surprised me and told me he was taking me to the Mickey's Not So Scary event @ DW! I am so excited!

I was just wondering if anyone who has been to this event before could give me some info on it??? What are some of things there that you can do? The party starts @ 7pm-12am..but what time can you actually arrive at the park?? When you start the trick or treating, do they give you a bag or do you need to bring your own??

I am sorry about all the questions, this is just my first time going to the halloween thing..so any info would be appreciated. thanks!

We fly out from London on 29th October 2008 to stay in Pop Century. 14 glorious days in Florida with the majority of them spent in WDW. Bliss!!!

Went to MNSSHP 2 years ago and from what I've heard it hasn't changed much... (we're actually going to be there next week! but not at the party)

They have a special parade that runs twice - it's awesome all characters are in their halloween costumes...the grave diggers with their shovels are my favorite part.

There is also a special stage show featuring the disney villians. They sort of take over the park during the party.

Treat bags were handed out when we walked in with several candy stations all around the parks.

Characters were everywhere we turned, my dd saw just about everyone and that was only our first night at WDW.

Finally there was also a different fireworks show with halloween music. The crowds were very light when we went last year...we just happened to be walking into the park about 20 minutes before the parade started and got an awesome spot on main st. Our DD even had a magical moment when she got to become a jr. fairy godmother and help "Cinderella" pick out her gown for the ball...

HAVE FUN!
