?'s about Disney Store clothing sizes

My son is a big (just turned) 2 yr old. Takes after his 6'7" daddy. Well, dh and I were looking around at the Disney Store the other night and found some adorable Buzz Lightyear swim trunks. The smallest size I could find was XXS. Could anyone please shed some light onto what XXS is equivalent to? Is it like a 2T, 3T?? They looked kind of big.

Ds and dd (just turned 4) are both tall and thin. They could use the length of bigger sizes but need smaller waists.

I bought the same swim trunks a few weeks ago - xxs = size 2/3 according to the inner label on the trunks - my son is 3 y/o, 30 lbs and 37 inches tall - the waist of the trunks are a little big on him but he's "skinny" compared to a lot of kids his age - HTH
