When you bring your own alcohol does your room steward keep the bottles for you or are you allowed to keep them in your room? A friend of mine that has travelled on other cruise lines said their room steward kept their bottles and when they wanted them they had to "check them out" from their steward. Does DCL do this? I plan on bringing my own to help out on costs...I know I have to pour out whatever we do not drink before we leave the ship, but wasn't sure about the rest. Also..if you take your own wine will they serve it at dinner? Is there a cork fee? Thanks!

You most certainly can keep your own...There is a corking fee of 15$ per bottle, some have been charged, and others report not being charged...I would keep it with you in your room, the CM's have parties too...
We gave our most grateful servers, what we had left (quite a bit)...
can't have everyone know where our secret hangout is)
but there is something about holding a wine glass that feels good to me
Also, can you bring your own beer? Not that I would, but just curious...
