Hi! Though neither of these parks are close to Disney, I can report on two of them.

Stayed at Sanlan in January 2006 so the info may be a bit dated: It was a nice enough facility. Comfort station was clean. Nothing special but clean, comfortable, and safe. 3 1/2 stars out of 5 would be my rating.

Stayed at Cypress Gardens (before it was called that) from Feb-June 2008. It was ok. Seemed to be set up for snowbirds mostly, though it did have a lot of (non-snowbird) people who lived there full-time. It had a small pool, but they closed it up daily at about 5 p.m. No playground or anything else for the young'uns. It did have a back entrance to Wal-Mart--a walking or biking gate. Several comfort stations, clean and usually plenty of hot water. A few times they were out of propane and you might have to try another station. The owners just didn't seem very friendly, and I always got the feeling they were just hanging on hoping to be bought out. Maybe 2 1/2 stars. Maybe things have changed.

Hope this helps!

I've been to Sunlan RV park in Lakeland a few times. Last year over Labor Day was the last time. It's not FW, but it's clean and the front desk people are nice. What I like most about it is there camping, golf cart/golfing specials that they offer. It's the only time I golf during the year, cause' it's just so darn convient and inexpensive. Plus, they let you take their golf cart all over the rv place including up in the trails and stuff. We do that for entertainment with our pets when we aren't golfing. They have an amazing array of butterflies during that time of year and the park is very vast, so plenty of places to ride a bike too. Even better is it's never too crowded to find a site when we go and even over Labor Day weekend, it's empty compared to Disney. :) I like it. There and Holiday Cove RV resort in Bradenton are so far my only two experiences though, FW still has a hold of me and I can't get away from staying there. LOL!
