RV parking at WDW? (Tyler, do you know?)

Does anyone have any experience with driving their RV to WDW?

We have some friends who are flying from Europe into MIA. When they arrive in MIA, they are going to rent an RV to see the sites. On their itinerary, they are planning to meet us in WDW for NYE.

They will be staying in an off-site RV park. I'm kind of sketchy about the details, but I assume that they would use the RV to drive themselves back and forth to WDW. ( I'm not sure how big
the RV is going to be, either. )

I was wondering, do they have special parking area for RV's at WDW? (How much would daily parking cost?)

There is RV and truck parking at all the parks, a little more money but not a lot if i remember right. If they are meeting you at your hotel, there is usually visitor parking, and then you could take Disney Transport. I'm not an expert, but i saw you wern't getting any replies.

RVs can park in the standard parking lot. They are sent to the end of the row, and park perpendicular to the space lines. Cost for parking is approx $12, give or take.

As mentioned, you can park the RV with no problem. I would suggest that they check to see if there is transportation from the RV Park to WDW.
If they are new to RVing I would expect that they will find it very time consuming to UNHOOK and SECURE everything in order to go to the park and then have to repark at their site and HOOK back up. Newbies could take an hour or more to do each of these procedures.
RVing is great and they should have a good time. We go to FW once a month and see what happens when RV renters pull in for their vacation and then start to set up for the first time. Can be cause for friction and a lousy start to a Magical Vacation.
