We always use the levelers and recently were caught when they refused to raise. Our RV storage place told me that levelers are not important and they recommend not using them under normal circumstances as maintenance can be costly. What are your experiences?

I dont listen to storage guys, no RV mechanic would tell you not to use installed equipment. Now when I stored my old motohome and now the 5th wheel I dont use the leverlers. But when I am camping, I use them every time and maintain them like you would the rest of the coach.

We've only had our current class A for about 18 months but it is always parked on the jacks. One of the main reasons I bought this particular camper was because it had automatic leveling jacks. I feel like the camper bounces too much when it is just sitting on the wheels, it bounces a lot less when on the jacks which is important to us cause I can't make it through the night without having to use the bathroom and my kids are light sleepers.

When we have it parked at home we have it on the jack as well cause the parking pad isn't level and the camper needs to be leveled before putting the slide out. The slide has to be out in order to get into the closets so I can unpack and pack.

I hope we don't have any costly issues in the future. I've never heard that we shouldn't use the jacks and I don't really see any way around us using them.
