RV in the 1500 loop?

Disney is never 100% sold out on campsite or hotels. Disney keeps a % of sites and rooms open for Res screw-up, people extending, emergency’s and VIPs

Based on what I have seen, I believe this is true. Even on the busiest holidays, there are always a few open sites at the Fort.

And, again, based on what I have seen, they will allow Travel Trailers as well as Class C's and Class A's in partial sites.

I found some photos of a travel trailer and a Class A in the 2000 loop in a trip report that I posted back in June of this year:

While we are speaking of Men of Real Genius, please let me introduce you to two of my other favorite campers.

These fellows were also set up on the 2000 loop:

Here's tow truck guy:

He took the whole tow vehicle thing a little too literally, I would say.

And, right next door to tow truck guy, I found Class A guy:

So these two geniuses are right next to each other on the 2000 loop. I'm guessing they knew each other. If you read the official Disney FW website, you will see that motorhomes and travel trailers cannot be accommodated on the partial hook-up loops. But since when are any rules enforced at the Fort?

So, to the OP, as long as you understand that there could be some bumps in the road, I guess your plan will work. Please be sure to come back and let us know how it works out.

The unknown rule as I know it is RV’s can stay in partial sites as long as they have holding tank and know there is no dump station

If he cancel he will be charged a fee. If he can upgrade Disney will waive the cancellation fees.

The only time you lose your deposit is if you cancel 5 days or less from your check-in date. Otherwise, Disney charges you nothing if you cancel a ressie. You are told this whether you call to reserve or book online. I've been playing the book and cancel game for many, many years & have never been charged. Even if I've left early, I've never been charged for unused days.

Last year at this time I asked "Asian Jason" if an RV would be permitted in 2000 or 1500 if sewer wasn't needed. He told me that RV's are NOT allowed in those loops......EVER! I then asked if he wanted to go with me to the 2000 loop and see the RV's that weren't allowed in that loop. He really tried to double talk his way out of that one. What a putz.
