Well my summer class is over! We had the final today, and I got a 100!!! I'm so happy, lol!! Fall is September 2! I'm going to be a busy girl then. Hopefully I will have time to get on the Dis as much as I normally do.

I can't believe next month is September! Next is October, when I can make my ADRS!!!


I have been looking for flights on Southwest. Our flight down is available, but the flight home is not yet. Right now the earliest flight down is only $119. Not bad.

Well I hope you all are still enjoying your summer. It's almost over. I know some of you have trips coming up! I'm so excited for you guys! Can't wait to hear about it!!

And way to go on the running, I've been SO bad lately....mostly because of my test, I needed to concentrate on one thing at a time...but now there is no excuse since I"ve passed my exam!! LOL!! Need to get back into the swing of things...if it wasn't SO HOT here (90's+) I"d be out there...ugh!!! This Summer's weather is NUTS!

I haven't booked our flights down to FL for November either (we fly SW too) because the prices are so high right now! $161 one way and I check everyday! Coming home I got $79 so I'm hoping for at least $99 down! It should be cheaper for you since NJ is closer to FL than Long Island is

Hey girl! I just read your mini-update--congrats on the Summer class being over..thats just the beginning thats so awesome! I can't believe its the end of Summer thank god-just like someone else said means my Disney vacation is coming up soon yay!! haha.. My boyfriend and I just finalized our dining reservations..heres a quick review of the places were going:
-Boma(dinner)
-Ohanas(bfast)
-California Grille(dinner)
-Yak&Yeti(lunch/dinner)
-Archusas(spelling) Royal Table(bfast)
-9 Dragons Epcot(dinner)
-San Angel Inn Epcot(dinner)

Im probably missing something lol but thats pretty much it.. we hit like 99% of them on the dot w/the times we want.. we want to try and change Cali Grille so we are there same time as Wishes..

Other than that.. my family is currently in Disney(mom dad sis n bro) haha.. were DVC members so they are at Old Key West.. they said it is JAMMED PACKED!!! for some of the times they didnt have reservations I was on the phone with them booking them online.. also not sure if u r trying it.. but its pretty neat!! I helped them get into Liberty Tree Tavern tonight.. even though my Dad called WDW dining and tried every restraunt in MK but luckily I found an opening at 7:45 for them LOL so funny to be doing that up here in PA.

Also you probably heard about the 3rd Cast Member who passed away I was like OMG not another incident! The poor guy.. and the worst part is.. that has to go down as my favorite attraction in Disney.. i would go to Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular every chance i got/not working when I was working for Disney LOL and of course I have to go there 2 times a trip about to see the show.. Im a HUGE Indiana Jones movie fan and Harrison Ford fan.. but yeah cant believe that.. thank goodness it wasnt during a live performance though in front of alot of guests..

Hey! I'm finally catching up on reading my subscriptions! Congrats on being done with summer classes. You probably stated this somewhere else- but I can't remember- what are you in school for?

Our classes start back Tuesday. So I understand how crazy it's going to get. And I've got a wedding and Disney trip to plan!!

I've had the same issues with Southwest- my trip down is up- but not the trip back! I went ahead and booked our flights down- b/c it was 92$ yesterday- and I didn't think I would beat that! Also, I figure that getting TO orlando is the most important part. Right?

Also- have you heard anything about any specials? The CM I talked to said she was almost certain there would be something for that week- I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

I bet you are crazy busy with all the planning, lol! That's great you got a flight that cheap. You can't beat that price. Our flight down is at 114 now, so hopefully it will go down, but still that is not bad at all. Coming back home is still not up yet though. Yeah getting there is the most important flight lol.

No I have not heard any specials yet. I don't really look for them because we have DVC. Hopefully something pops up for you.

Well Tim and I were thinking that it's time to go and do something different next year for our anniversary.

We were planning on going down to Disney for Star Wars weekend, but that would be the end of May into June, and I'm most likely going to do a summer 2 class. So we decided to go to.........

And visit

DISNEYLAND!!!


We also want to go to LA and do all that fun stuff too. Not sure if we are going to stay there, or stay off site.

Have any of you ever been to Disneyland, or LA??

We definitely want to do other stuff out there too.

We have been about 10 times and as recently as last Summer. We love it and it will be really fun for a 1st timer.

Honestly I don't get excited about LA because I grew up close by and have been all over and its just not the same as going to WDW for us

I will say up front...start saving because the Dland hotels are way pricier than the WDW ones. Oh yeah...DVC...you can book DVC. Definately stay at the GCH...it is the closest feeling you will get to staying at WDW. very very much like the WL. We have stayed there a few times now and really like it. It is a 5 min walk to the entrance of both parks. It is honestly worth the splurge to stay there for this convenience but the room is bascially the same as the WL in decor....not worth $360 per night but that is what you have to do to stay closest to the magic.

Fly into Orange County airport if you can its a lot closer, like 20 mins from Dland...although LAX may offer cheaper fares. You will be able to go to Newport Beach and the beach towns easily from Dland...but Bev hills and Magic Mtn/Universal are up North and at least an hour away in terrible traffic.

I will leave it up to everyone else to make suggestions because we only go to Dland when we go...we have no interest in LA anymore. We like to stay immersed in the Disney magic. Its just so different that WDW because you are int eh middle of a city...and you can see city, power poles, hotels, smog, etc.
We personally thing Cal Adventure is the most boring park on earth but don't listen to me...I am making it sound terrible and it isn't....really

I have been twice to Disneyland stayed on site once and stayed off site the other time. If you can afford it I would stay on site but it can be pretty pricey. I think we stayed offsite in a pretty nice hotel for about $90 per night(might have been less), and we were able to take a bus there and back. I've never done the LA stuff so can't help you there. Brandon and I are thinking about doing DL next spring too! We might wait until 2011 though when Disney will have a ship out in LA and do a mexican riviera cruise and DL.
