Getting fitted makes all the difference! Love my Hoka Clifton's!
I also use Clifton 3s and since its been my favorite Hoka so far I'm going to buy another pair with a nice discount now that the Clifton 4s are out.The Hoka brand overall being lightweight shoes with maximum cushioning are going to appeal to me but as others have said its an individual thing. When I put my foot into a shoe I pretty much know if its going to work for me or its not.For example I know many people use Asics and about 80% of the Asics I've tried on just feel uncomfortable to me.Before I started using the Hokas I was using Skechers for the same reason I like Hokas, lightweight, wide and good cushioning.Skechers being cheaper wore out faster and lately the models haven't been as appealing as they used to be but I really liked the Go Run Ultras I used for awhile.
