Running ... Out of Steam?

On a day in Magic Kingdom with an EMH in the morning, are guests 'roped-out' of Frontierland and Liberty Square until 9:00 AM?

Does the WDW Railroad begin runs at 8:00 AM or at 9:00 AM?

If at 8:00 AM, does the train stop at the Frontierland Station? Would guests be held there until 9:00 AM?

If at 9:00 AM (and assuming that early entry guests have been roped-out of the areas), would you arrive more quickly at Big Thunder Mountain by riding the first train leaving the Main Street Station? Or by walking (assuming that you are seventy-plus and not as good at that as you used to be ... )

1. Yes. At the Hub and at Fantasyland, near Peter Pan.
2. 9AM.
3. NA
4. Walking from the Hub to BTM will beat the train.
Walking from the front gate to BTM will likely be approx. a toss-up with the train.

The train might get you there a minute or two later, but the feet you save in the morning will allow you to enjoy the park pain free longer into the afternoon!
