Hey Amanda! I'm sure you'll have no problem with the fundraising part. As far as the double marathons go, I think that will be fine too. I've heard Jeff Galloway say that he intentionally runs a marathon a month so he never has to do a long run
DH & I are doing Dopey, and he's never raced a full before. He runs a 1:40 half though, and we intend to do the marathon together. I was 5:16 at the Disney marathon this year, so I'm quite a bit slower and feel he could run it at my pace without even training! I used Jeff's "to improve" marathon plan last year and did a 26 & 28 miler in training.
We're looking for a full for November/December anyway, just so he can have a "real" full under his belt before Dopey. He's very competitive and will have a hard time "taking it easy" if he doesn't have a "real marathon" time to show off instead of his time for Dopey.
I did recently see this, it might be helpful: http://www.runningplanet.com/training/running-multiple-or-consecutive-marathons.html
