Within 15 min, they will not turn you away. They have the *right* to turn away anyone for any reason other than protected classes. They don't do it.
I give up.

One minute us entirely different from the 15 minutes originally stated.I'm still waiting for the example of the person who was 1 minute late and was told to leave the restaurant. Doesn't exist...

I have personally seen someone get turned away after being less then 10 minutes late. I even asked the CM about it. The restaurant was already behind, they were taking no walk ups, and the person was late. They reserve the right to turn you away if you are late. Period.Within 15 min, they will not turn you away. Not true!!!!!!
I just don't want other readers to think they will be okay showing up late because someone wants to argue and give incorrect advice.Sometimes you run into someone who just will not let facts interfere with his opinion. You know it happens. I now it happens. However some people insist it does not, and I have no idea what that is based on. I gave up earlier in the thread.

I'll say it again. Maybe people could just be considerate and plan to show up ON TIME for their ADR. Then this discussion wouldn't even taking place. Amazingly, we've booked countless Fast Passes and ADRs and watched parades and shows and park hopped, and we've NEVER been late to an ADR due to our own poor time management.
There is no way to create 100% certainty you will be on time. Everyone makes a tradeoff whenever they go somewhere about what risk they are willing to take to be late. This calculation is based on the cost of being late vs. the inconvenience of being early. It's a classic operations issue called "the newsvender problem." There is no such thing as planning to be "ON TIME." Only planning for a certain likelihood of being on time.

Just like there's no way to say with 100% certainty that you won't be turned away if you are late for a reservation. There is no way to create 100% certainty you will be on time.

I'm not sure why you are continuing to argue about this. Lots of "newbies" come to this board looking for advice. To state that "Within 15 min, they will not turn you away." is bad advice, because they certainly could and do turn people away for being late. Multiple people on this thread have stated that you are incorrect, yet you continue to argue?Wow, that is just incorrect logic. The fact that one thing is not 100% certain does NOT imply that nothing is 100% certain. lol.
If they were turning away and charging no-show fees for folks who were 10 minutes late, we would see people posting and complaining about that on these boards. There would be massive discussion about it.
