Runner's belt instead of a bag for rides??? HELP!

In one of the "which bag is best for carrying at parks" threads someone gave a link to a runner's belt that they use for the Universal parks, thus not having to use a locker. I read the post, told myself to remember so I could look into buying that belt, but of course have since forgotten. I've been searching threads without any luck. Anyone know what I'm talking about and have that recommendation? TIA!

I recently purchased a Flip Belt for the gym, which is slightly different than a runner's belt I think. I've been thinking it might be good to wear in the theme parks. It goes under your shirt and it's pretty flat. It has slit like openings that are small, so whatever you put inside stays put. I put it under my shirt at the gym and put my iPhone in it which I use to listen to music.

I think this would supplement a locker for most rides except Rip Ride Rockit - they actually checked our butts to make sure we didn't have wallets or phones in our jeans pockets.

Wow. They are very serious about this.

I wonder if some of the slimmer money belts would work too. The problem is the phones.

The one we use is the Guthrie Gear running belt. I carried my Galaxy S4, and tickets in one pocket, chapstick, money, and credit card in the other.

Thanks, Kathi! That's what I was thinking of. :)

I just saw these on Sunday when I was shopping with my daughter and was considering it for the parks. It seems like it would be pretty comfortable to wear, as well.

I looked at the flip belts and I was concerned that things would end up slipping out of place since there are no zippers. My running belt is surprisingly flat even with zippers. Good to know the flip belt keeps things secure.

Ditto this. I had the same thoughts. My SpiBelt stays nice and flat even with my iPhone in there. Stretches to hold a ton too.

The SpiBelt is the one I bought. I get to try it out in two days!!

It's definitely comfortable. It acts as a second band to the work-out pants I wear, which I will sometimes wear in the parks as well. It stays put which is nice.

So far (knock on wood) nothing has fallen out of mine, but I've not tried to carry cash or credit cards in it yet.

Just got back..make sure your bags have a 3 PRONG clasp or they will not allow it.Several people in front of us on Forbidden journey , Gringotts and the like had runners/travelers belts and they were made to lock them up..ALSO ...On HULK, RIP RIDE ROCKET and DRAGON CHALLENGE...it doesn't matter what you have ..EVERYTHING gets locked up
