RunDisney for 2014-2015?

When will they update race dates for 2014? DH is interested in running the Wine and Dine 1/2 marathon...I'm assuming it'll be a similar weekend in November, but when will they release the definitive date?

The Wine and Dine 1/2 marathon will be on Saturday, November 8, 2014. The RunDisney site hasn't been updated, but here is an official Disney World special events site which shows the events will take place November 7 and 8 of this year:

Wine and Dine 1/2 is Nov 7-8, 2014. Registration opens in March I think ( or at least in the past) it was on the back of the event guide from this past year. It is a fun event, I have done it the past 2 years.

It really is a great event too- did it for the first time this year and will definitely be doing it again

He did the TOT 10 miler in October, and had a great time. I.loved the dhs party I.got to go to...got to ride TSMM 5-6 times in a row with no waiting!

All the dates through the WDW Marathon in 2015 have been posted, tentative dates for all races through Dec 2015 have been decided but not posted. Wine and Dine is scheduled to be the same timeframe as the last couple years.

Registration for Wine and Dine opens Feb 26th.

W&D has a prerace party at DHS (we didn't do that because we flew in that day and didn't want to spend the extra money on that party) and a post race party at EPCOT. It's a little different doing a night run, but its a really fun time. Disney sure knows how to get people to spend money on their special events!

THe 10 miler is a night run too...I think I was there from 10pm-2am or so? We had our DD with us (grandparents were watching her in the hotel for us), and we were exhausted already since we arrived the tuesday before the 10 miler, so we couldn't make it to 4am!

I didn't realize there was a prerace party at DHS...family and friends can get entry for that too? Is it a separate hard ticket from the Epcot party at 10?

This year it was a separate ticket, $79 from 6:30-8:30. Pretty pricey
