Run Away Railroad?

Is the runaway railroad still closed? If so, any idea when it might open again? Thanks.

Yes, Big Thunder Montain Railroad is open after its' rehab. In fact they did such a good job with the repainting they are going to repaint Splash Mountain on specific days so it does not appear so drab.

So BTMR is open at the World even after the accident at the Land?
Wow, I really thought that they would close down both rides for good. We are happy to hear that the World's BTMR is open.

There was nothing wrong with either BTMR. The acccident was the direct result of poor maintenance procedures at Disneyland.

They have supposedly revamped the procedures at Disneyland. WDW uses different procedures so it was not an issue there.
