How odd! I wouldn't have thought they would want to build a competitor for DTD which is what this sounds like, unless they go for a different concept.It will be interesting to see what comes of this.

From what I read, it won't be so much a competitor for DTD, but more of a budget area, designed to compete with off-site hotels and shopping rather than existing upmarket resorts and shops.

That would be cool - and about time - especially if you don't like to have a car and can't get off site easily. It will be interesting to see what happens.
