That picture is really scary,
@GADisneyDad14! I can't imagine waking up to something like that,
@HopperFan! We never have a car when we go to WDW; it would be so frightening to have your kids with you and have no control in what would be such a chaotic environment. Ugh... It reminds me...my parents took us to WDW in '78 and we stayed at the Contemporary - there was really only the Poly and the Contemporary to choose from at that point, and my dad was told that generally, CR was for families and Poly was for honeymooners, so we went to CR. However, my mom had both a fear of heights
and a fear of fire - she always requested a ground floor room anywhere we went. We did NOT get a ground floor - my dad loved it there but it was rough going for my mom - I think she was wishing we opted for the Poly! Ah, good times...
On to the other topic...it is interesting after all this time to see how/when we all eventually get there! You've seen it, correct HopperFan? Things were a little hectic the weeks before my trip so I wasn't online much, but I thought you were able to get there! I will need to go back a few pages... I'm already debating about it when I go with my kids with my daughter's dance company in November. We've never done anything like that - we plan on tacking on a few days, but hoping to do a Christmas Party so I'm not sure if we can fit ROL in. I'm not sure what the commitment will be with the dance group, but I'm sure my daughter will want to be with her friends as much as she can. I'm not much of a big group gal - not a fan of the waiting for people and whatnot

so I'm going to need to mentally prepare for this trip!
