Just to get us to 700 and I need some help from people I trust this is seriously
1 What do you use for pics at the water parks?
2 We're thinking about doing Characters in Flight. Birnbaum's has a $10 coupon so would or have you done it? Any feed back? THNX

Doin' my part to help with the post count.

1. I don't do water parks, but my son and daughter-in-law do. They also snorkel when on cruises. My DIL uses this for her phone and it has served her well. She also uses it when at the regular parks at Disney. I just bought one for myself -- mostly so I can use it on future Disney trips and move back to the no-bags line. Oh...my DIL paid $40 for hers and said it was worth every penny. Now they're on sale for $10 at Amazon. Score!

2. Can't help with this one. My husband and I don't do heights.

I just had a ridiculous day. We are 48 hours away from our vacation, and one of my dental crowns comes loose, but does not fall out. Dentist agreed to squeeze me in this afternoon. He removed the crown, and part of my tooth had broken off
and was imbedded in the crown.
He told me he would have to put in a post, build up the tooth, and I would need to return next week to attach the crown. NEXT WEEK... but ..but I'll be at Disney next week, and I won't be back for two weeks!!!
Thankfully, my wonderful dentist came to the rescue, and had mercy on a Disney fan; he agreed to fix everything today. Whew... it was a close one. I had visions of
going on vacation with a snaggletooth (no photo pass pictures for me), and I would have to chew everything on one side of my mouth.
Hoping I can make it through tomorrow before we head out Friday morning. Nothing like a little pre-trip drama!

Yikes! So glad your dentist was able to fix everything today! Right before our first trip last year, my DD had to have a baby tooth extracted. It was originally scheduled for after the trip, but it started to really bother her a few days before we were scheduled to leave, so her dentist squeezed her in beforehand. Thank goodness for understanding dentists!

Thanks for the link. Bought one of those cases. Also trying to go bagless, but was worried about pocket depth for the phone on the rides. Even if I only use it to secure the phone on the ride- winner!

It's a really handy case. The phone is completely usable in the case. You can take pictures and video and you can't even tell you're shooting through the plastic. I was really impressed.

That sounds terrible. I am so glad that they could fix it. A few years ago before I went to Disney and then on a cruise, I had to get a crown replaced. They first had to remove the old one and then put a temporary one on. After the cruise, they would replace it with the permanent one. Unfortunately, the temporary crown was coming off. They glued it back and gave me glue to do it if it happened again while on the cruise. It's such a terrible feeling to worry about things like that while on vacation. YUP YUP, just booked my SW Party, 3 day trip now full. I will be back in Sept & Oct and want to do CV again .... but waiting to see if they release AP discount like they had before.

As far as ROL .................. yea ................ they might be better off putting wheels on those floats and bringing back a parade at AK but at night ........ and start over with the river show.

In just one week I'm headed to Orlando! It's mainly for a conference so I only have 1.5 Disney days planned for sure, but since I have an AP I made evening FPs every day in case I'm able to get to the parks after conference activities and before bed. Looking at a 60% chance of PM thunderstorms on my full Disney day, but hopefully that changes or that they're at least not so severe that they require Disney to cancel my Savor the Savanna tour.

I was REALLY tempted to book CV today for my October weekend trip with my DD, but am holding off for now. My hope is that they'll extend it again so that we can go with the whole family in January. And I agree with @HopperFan - an AP discount would be nice!

Got my Stars Wars party booked this morning! (Did end up sending a letter yesterday ... thanks again @ArielSRL for the address. Apparently that move might get a magic file started on me, but I was polite and so hoping for the best.)

I have to say that I'm not big on the dessert parties in general. They're a hefty price to pay for a little food and a reserved spot for the fireworks -- a spot that is surrounded by people who don't pay extra for the privilege of standing 2 feet in front of you...they just give up an hour of their time to do it. And if you have a family with 5 kids, the dessert parties are a HUGE amount of money for what they are. That being said, if it was just me and my husband, I would not bat an eye at scheduling us for the SW dessert party. There really -- in general -- is a very small area to be able to have a perfect view of the Star Wars show at DHS and the dessert party area takes up a chunk of that. My husband and I did stake out our "free" spot in the courtyard area an hour or so before the show started, but had I known it would only be the two of us watching the show that night, I would have reserved the dessert party just for us (the kids went to see Fantasmic instead and then watched SW from the front of the park but ended up leaving early because the view was so obstructed. Don't worry, when I say "kids" I actually mean 2 adults; 2 late teens; and 1 tween....not 5 little kids. lol.).
