I was trying to come up with a scenario where someone might actually like this version of EMM, and it looks like we've found it! This one tempts me not one iota, but I'm glad it will work well for you and your son. Sounds like a great fit for your situation.

Believe me never did I imagine I would book this one until it included SWLand and TSLand. I think TSMM is cute but not worth the craziness it causes. But when they tossed in 5 characters, 2 of which are pure torture for him with breakfast, and Star Tours ............ he will be so EXCITED, especially to ride over and over. I might be sick by the end of it but hey, he's worth it.

New item on the menu! Call me sucker, but I booked it. DS#1 (adult but disabled) LOVES to meet Buzz & Woody but that indoor tight space with kids running all over and screaming .... a nightmare for him and I .... that takes forever, worth every penny. Add he loves TSMM and now can ride it many times, MUST meet characters so add Mickey Minnie and Olaf and loves Star Tours ........ and food is the highlight of his days. Will be worth every penny to enjoy all that with a few of our closest Disney friends.

You'll hear no name calling over here - I wish I could book this now for my fall weekend trip with my DD. We love both of these rides, haven't been able to meet Buzz and Woody because of the wait times during our previous visits, and Olaf is on our list to meet. It'd be great to take care of all of our DHS priorities in one morning (she is not into thrill rides yet so no ToT or RNRC) and be able to spend the rest of the day at other parks since we only have two park days. Quick update (and each post is nudge towards 700 pages) ... will VERY likely be dropping our Tusker House Breakfast Jungle Book ADR ... might try to change one of our existing FPs (Primeval Whirl) to JB ... we'll see.

Not-so-patiently waiting to book the Star Wars Dessert party ... it's like "Rumours of Light" Lite!!

1. We take a waterproof camera. I've had one for years. Had Fuji and now have Pentax. I more than justify cost with the pictures at the water parks, pool, in the park on rainy days, Discovery Cove, at the beach etc. DD took it snow skiing. They are waterproof, sand proof, drop proof etc. Can usually get one for a decent price, never paid more than $150 or so. GO PRO also works if you have one.

2. We have done (well my family, I don't do heights) with coupons and totally worth it. The views are great. I imagine now that the springs are built it is really nice.

Back on topic any word on how ROL is actually going?

Suspicious me. We kept hearing all about the testing and the checks going on and then silence. It's like all the folks who knew what was happening don't hear anything anymore. The few things I see posted just don't make sense to me. So is it working and they are sticking with JB through the summer? Is is not working to the point it is on indefinite delay? Is their design so bad they are having to redesign it? Who knows but the silence is kinda strange to me.

So ... way back when the RoL craziness was at its height, some of you were emailing Disney execs ... would anyone mind sharing those email addresses again?

The current frustration with the Star Wars Dessert parties in August has tipped me over the edge ... time to send some email letters.

I've given up on any hope of doing the party at this point! I'm going the first 2 weeks of August and all my plans are set! I have 2 nights to catch the fireworks so that's 280 in my pocket I won't be spending. Now if they had set the dates before I made all our fast passes it may have been 280 in Disney's pocket

I hear you ... our plans are set ... if this works out for the our DHS day, Disney gets $462, if not, money stays in my pocket and is truly Disney's loss since we dropped HDDR in favour of this and won't even try to rebook it if the dessert party falls through.

There is sometimes a Groupon for Characters in Flight, FYI. I haven't done it but we might next trip.

There is sometimes a Groupon for Characters in Flight, FYI. I haven't done it but we might next trip.

I have the coupon from Birnbaum's. $10 until 10am. The Basin coupon alone is going to pay for the book LOL
