Rumors of Light (ROL discussion thread)

Hey Loungers !! Ok, so there is a good chance that I am going nuts--- ordered our MYW tix for our upcoming (6/30) trip for DD and DS --- wife and I have annuals that expire end of August --- anyhoo --- right after I ordered their tix online, received e-mail confirmations and the tix showed up on MDE ---

So today, (and it was a cute surprise) we received hard tix --- I'm almost positive that when we went in November and I ordered DDs tic, it was just on MDE, and was automatically linked to her MB -- (these tix are already linked as well)

Did Disney start sending hard tix again recently ? ( or maybe we just never received her ticket in November ?)

Of course, we called Disney to see if the tickets had to be linked, and the CM had no idea what we were talking about!

TIA !!
When I bought my tickets before the price hike, they sent me a card. Then when my friend bought hers, she got a card but we both have MBs because of the resort stay. My assumption is that if you buy just tickets without a package, you will get the card

I have to confess, I just cannot get excited about the interim JB show. I'm sure it's due to some sort of 'RoL letdown syndrome.':rotfl2: The JB show will probably be great, but I'm just not feeling it. Hoping the reviews will inspire me.

Feeling the same. I have no plans to go see it, I want to wait for "the real thing" even it's it is 2017. I want my first time in that seating to be wowed by the RoL. If in the AK at night, I'll enjoy the tree awakening and parties! with :drinking1

Thanks much !! Was just confused, because we always book a "room only" , and haven't received a card the last 2 years ( probably a total of 4 trips)

Thanks again !!

Good morning folks! Getting kinda quiet in here. Was hoping we would still be active when I came back from my trip but starting to doubt :sad1: Hope everyone has a great day!

I'm still around - things have just been a little hectic the last couple of weeks! I wish that I was planning a trip!! I will look forward to hearing about your trip, however!

I'm here too and trying to plan our "after Thanksgiving" trip - hard to do without hours being published. ADRs can be done in 20 days, and it would be really nice if Disney would figure out just what's happening around the AK evening hours stuff. After the fiasco with our April trip, I'm sure hoping that they get their act together soon! (Ha, as I'm sure all you with upcoming summer trips are, also!!)

Where's Maggie when we need her?

Same here. I'm just having a hard time trying to work a slot in around FP's for Jungle Book. I want to do the safari right at sunset since they say you cannot see that well after dark, then I have Everest before that and Dinosaur at 10:00-11:00. I wanted Everest later but of course there are no FP's. It looks like we are going to be walking back and forth the whole park to do FP's :crazy2:

Maggie and her senior group are practicing for the alligator rodeo!

:offtopic:My dh stepped on the scale last night and announced he has to lose 15 to 20 pounds before our trip and it won't be too bad because he has 4 months to get it done. i had to tell him j he only has 2 1/2 months before we leave. This from the guy who asked me to book a BOG dinner only 100 days out. Now I know why I do all the planning:crazy2:

Too funny.:rotfl: Same story at our house. DH is on some sort of unhealthy high protein crash diet. Not sure how long it will last. As much as he loves going, he is totally detached from the planning, his only request is a steak dinner.

He can totally lose 15-20 lbs by then anyway. :D He's all good!

BUT I'M STILL HERE GUYS. Just lurkinnng in the shadowssss *hissssses*

Anyway, DBf and I did a thorough money budgeting shabang when we're down there. We have yet to buy most of our tickets, so, I'm hoping to get that done by this afternoon on my lunch break. And we decided that he'll be the head of the food budgeting, we've got a $1250 budget, but I've already paid for $152 of it for Spirit of Aloha, so he's got everything else. I'm excited though! Our trip is coming up soon! :) BUT NOT SOON ENOUGH.

I have to pencil in time for Les Hailles and Lapus
