Did anyone do May the Force (Fourth) today at DHS? I was debating of changing our first DHS day to today but when I saw the weather forecast I decided against it. Just wondering if there was some special stuff going on?
We checked into the BW Disney Springs today and were upgraded to Disney view on floor 12 (pixie dust)! So we're going to watch them from the balcony tonight if they happen instead of taking the bus to the TTC and watch them from the dock. I really really wanted to do this but the weather is just so crappy right now.
We had lunch at Sanaa today - the food was superb! We also watched the animals before we headed to Jambo House. Baby Gigi was out with mom and auntie - I caught some nice photos of her during a very short break in the rain when we could go outside.
At 3:45pm we did the culinary tour at Jambo House which includes Boma and Jiko. It was nice hearing about the theming of the restaurants. My DS11 was awesome - he tried to translate everything for DS7 and DD3 and thus kept the entertained during the tour. The tour guides were also great, always trying to include my kids. We got to try some of the food both at Boma and Jiko. Part of the food offerings were zebra domes (OMG are they yummy!). Since they have alcohol in it, our tour guide let my kids pick another desert from the buffet. If you guys have an off day and don't know what to do, try this tour! It's free and usually not very crowded ( there was just one other lady besides us doing the tour). There's also one at Sanaa but we haven't done that one since it's at the same time.
