Just realized I don't think I ever really went to the DPB before this thread ... now I check daily just for the ROL comments ... today's were particularly awesome!

Which is to say, hi, I'm the Amanda in question. I can't take all the credit though, I riffed off something my brother said to me in a message. Our trip starts 4/24 and we've gone a little mad!

Me either! And it took me a while to figure out that I could comment with my DME account - thought I had to make a new account - d'oh!

But I think we can all agree...haven't all learned so much about Disneyworld and Disneyland? And aren't we all the better for it?

Well, you know how I called yesterday and I was told that they couldn't add the dining plan without converting me over to a package, which would mean cancelling all my reservations, which include some extremely hard to get dining reservations. I called today to try to add another day to our ticket because we decided to go to club villain. This CM told me that they would have to cancel my current tickets and reissue but that may cause me to lose my fastpasses. Oh, heck no! I'll just wait.

Where do they get these people?!? Try back until you get a decent CM - ADRs & FP are in no way connected to anything other than themselves & won't be affected by changing or even canceling your resort reservation OR adding Club Villian!! So just keep trying, it IS possible

How do you keep getting these CM's? I added a day to our trip last July and they just added it on. Nothing needed to be canceled. Hopefully you eventually get someone who can help you correctly!

Also, with the FEA/A&E M&G thing, have they announced how they will be tiering things yet? It seems like putting TT, Soarin', FEA and the A&E M&G all in one tier is kind of crappy]

It is really crappy but that's how I'm assuming they're going to do it.
I hope they don't catch onto someone's suggestion of it opening from 9-11 at an extra cost! Surely once shanghai opens and it starts to make some money they'll lay off cost cutting at disney world for a bit!

Can you just update your reservations online? I've tweaked mine multiple times and it doesn't do a thing to the ADRs.

Good to know about the DME account ... i didn't realize that either!

Not sure if we're all the better for our new knowledge from the DPB, but pretty sure we are because of this thread!
