On a side note about the F! Packages - when did they take away appetizers from the Mama Melrose package? I'm seeing listed it's only entree and desert now. We used to get an appetizer as well in the past.....

Ugh.. it listed an appetizer included when I signed up for it a month ago. ~.~

Happy Easter, DISers! We had my family over yesterday to accommodate some who needed to travel to in-laws' houses today, so we had great weather for our egg hunt. The bunny stopped by last night and DD found her basket early this morning, so the rest of my day will be spent working on a research paper... joy. If the topic were Disney-related, I think it'd be easier to complete!

Unless 2:40 is dinner in Disney sometimes lol.

Actually, this was a recent change at Crystal Palace (and some other places in WDW). Following breakfast, CP now serves "dinner" from 11:30am to close. Details/pictures in this EasyWDW blog post (which also prompted me to cancel my April ADR for the Diamond Horseshoe posthaste).

Isn't that the truth? I do think H&V still has a separate lunch until 2:55 (for now, anyway!).

Thank you so much for letting me know. My original reservation was a 1:30. The issue I'm having is that H&V has Disney Jr. characters at lunch which is listed as 11:00-2:55, and Minnie & friends at dinner which is listed as starting at 4:15. My kids are 8 and 12 and want to have Mickey and Minnie there and not the Disney Jr characters. Sorry if I'm sounding picky, just trying to make everything great for the kiddos as we won't be going back for quite a while. I appreciate your efforts though.

I almost booked the h&v last night to "hold" it for @MMlovesDisney so we could coordinate a drop time for her to book it! If I come across a dinner as well, will definitely let you know!


And if anyone comes across 1 or 2 FP+ for MSEP on 5/4 please let me know! I'm stalking the dibbs site and mde because we only have 2 for our party of 4!

Was it this thread that was talking about the luggage tags that match the magic bands? (I'm on several, and do get confused as to where stuff gets discussed sometimes...)

If so , just want to report that we received our magic bands today, and their were NO luggage tags. We have reservations through that certain magical agency, which includes 2 rooms, park hopper passes for three of the four (I have an annual pass, the others don't ), plus the dining plan for all four.

Maybe we didn't get the tags because of the GROUP rate?

EDITED: Last fall, we booked a week through a different certified Disney TA, with room and PH tickets, (no dining plan), and DID get the tags...confused as to the criteria for getting the matching luggage tags and magic bands.

I had to triple check this because I really thought the Disney Jr. characters were only at breakfast. I have booked the H&V Fantasmic package at lunch expecting to see Minnie and Friends. Plans changed and I switched it to dinner, but I would have been shocked (and not at all happy) to see the Disney Jr. characters instead of Minnie et al.

This is really misleading on Disney's website. The H&V page does say that lunch is Disney Jr. Play n Dine, but at the bottom it says 'enjoy Minnie's seasonal dining before heading to Fantasmic!' and the link takes you to the Fantasmic! dining package page. I have always started on the Fantasmic! dining page which says nothing about Disney Jr. The Fantsmic! dining page says that H&V offers characters at Minnie's dinner party, but doesn't give any indication that it is only at certain times. Fantasmic! dining packages can be booked at H&V from 11am-6pm, and Disney Jr. characters aren't mentioned anywhere on this page or anywhere else during booking. Since more than half of the Fantasmic! Dinner package times at H&V are during lunch this is blatantly misleading!

I'm sure they will keep lunch unless they change characters. The other meals that made that change have the same characters at all meals

I think H&V having characters at dinner is very new. I think until the Minnie dine meal there were no characters at dinner at all. Sounds like they added the Minnie dine to the F! but didn't include that lunch was different. Before the only character meal for F! was Dis Jr. Then when the Minnie meal started they just stuck the second blurb in there about it

You only get the luggage tags with the Magic Your Way packages. Did you book that?
