I can't express how upset I will be if it doesn't open on time. Granted we are going to be back in October but I WANT IT NOW.

Here's a biggie though guys. What if we waited all of this time, put in all these hours, lost all this sleep and the show stinks?! I'm so nervous!

Noooooo! I wanted a wishes FP so bad for our upcoming trip in August! The hub is all set up for FP's now and they are just gonna take it away Anyone have any guesses why they would do that?? They must be offering something new that will cost extra in order to watch the fireworks from that location

I agree we went to dessert party at MK last August and the location is not great. We couldn't see the castle show very well from the party. The location was only better to see Tink fly overhead otherwise i'd rather be in front of the castle.

Luckily we'd been to MK a couple days before and got a much better and cheaper view of castle show and fireworks. Throw in a mickey ice cream bar and you've had a better experience at much less expense.

We watched the fireworks from the FP+ area during MVMCP (no FP's).. it was great! Mostly because there was a lot of room to sit down and spread out.

In the past 24 hours, they've gone from 0 to 60 and announced a brand new thing over at MK, announced the dates, prices, and all that, made reservations open. Ugh. Nothing for a month about ROL...

I read posts that theorized that they got rid of the Wishes FP+s because they wanted to save money on the CM's that have to monitor the FP+ area. I suppose that is possible and I think it was pretty popular so I was surprised the FP didn't exist. I was hoping to get a FP+ to Wishes for my May trip and I couldn't figure out why it wasn't available. I suppose that now that all of the construction is done in front of the castle there is ample space? I also read that if you FP the ELP you can just stay in that area (even though they will take down the ropes and others will come in to the area) and that is a pretty good viewing area for Wishes.

The Electric Light Parade was still and option for FP+ for my May 19 - 22 trip so it doesn't appear that they got rid of them.

Are fastpasses for the parades and fireworks worth it? We are going for 10 days in May. I have multiple days in all the parks. I've never used FP for them before but willing to try them out.

edit: obviously if they are still a thing. lol
