Think there will be an AP or DVC discount!?

I don't believe it's been discussed but I'm saying no way will there be. They don't have them for their special events anywhere (other than the few recent ones with Club Villain). I can't see it changing for these preview events.

We are doing the 5K on the 15th but plan to go take a nap before heading to the park so we should still be able to do a late night without problems. I already have us at AK that day, since I think it's a great park for a late start. If this event pans out, and I get us tickets, we'll just go a bit later than we currently have planned and stay longer.

I really wish this was a separate FP but it doesn't sound like it will be. Forces one to choose day or Night. Probably the first time the late FPs will go before the morning ones.

Exactly. I feel like I am going to need 2 AK days this trip.

If shows are at 8:30 and 9:45 based on the preview parties then the prime FP+ for the Safari are going to be tough to get. Or the ROL show will end and 5000 people will go to the safari.

These are one time things, preview events. Different from the events offered at SWW (or Frozen)

And unless they change them the amounts are $99 and $49 (plus tax)

cannot remember offhand what we paid for the super-de-dooper SWW package last year with the parade spot/1st dibs at reservations for shows/FW dessert party...do you remember?

I couldn't believe it because I just finished reading my thread updates here, so I rushed downstairs to get my trip notes, fell down the stairs (I'm okay & call didn't disconnect) but when she tried to book, she of course could not then put me on a long hold to come back and say I'm sorry they are not available yet and, you guessed it, check the blog.

I'm so glad you're not hurt, but oh! the visual! Now that's what I call being devoted to a cause! I can imagine you all bruised and battered at the bottom of the staircase, holding up your phone and yelling triumphantly "the call didn't disconnect! I'm OK!"

Several weeks ago, can't remember exactly when now since it all seems to be running together, I was told by a CM (and posted here) as well on other sites/sources that there would be an AP & DVC member preview event. I didn't get the impression it would be a discount per se but rather a preview where only such members could attend. To say so much has changed since then is an understatement and I have not heard much (if anything) about it of late.
