I read in another thread that the TA hours haven't been updated and currently the Disney site hours are more reliable (according to Kenny the Pirate). When they changed AK to 8pm for our dates, it was on the Disney site first.

Disney's site MORE accurate than the TA calendar??!?!?? It's like I've just entered the Twilight Zone... How is THAT possible?!?

They could do a DP Blog post and aim for Tuesday morning. As mentioned before on this thread, they like Tuesdays for this kind of stuff. Tuesday is the March 22nd, the big opening day is April 22nd. I could see where they might like this Tues.

Or.....Events may be bookable without warning. Who knows which. At least we can keep each other company here as we wait.

Tuesday (or later) makes sense. I would be very surprised if they released FPs prior to 30 days out to allow AP holders an opportunity to attend the first night. Opening day will likely draw more "locals" than those who already had vacations planned and just happened to luck into bring there for the opening. Now dining packages.....no need to wait 30 days on those!!!

You're not the only August one on here ... originally, I was going with the "big group to plan for, gotta be on the ball" rationale ... then I just kinda got sucked in and now, sadly, the midnight & 6 AM thing has become routine!

We seem to be averaging about 8 pages of new posts a day ... I've taken to reading the newest to make sure I haven't missed any news, then I go back and catch up on the "nothing"!

That is also my strategy.

As of right now (6:24 CDT), the TA hours calendar for April & May still shows the last update of 2/12 at 8:51:19 AM (eastern time, I'm assuming). The one before that, which I had printed for April, was updated 1/15 9:27:54 AM.

EDITED: March's TA Calendar also shows 2/12 as the last update. Hours for MK on it show 9 AM opening for MK, while Disney website shows 8 AM starting 3/21, as AngiTN says above.

Same with September hours. Last edited on 2/12/16 at 8:51 am.

What about those of us with an AP AND have a full package booked in 37 days, who are not local, and won't be back until December, if then........ not fair, not fair, not fair (me having a tantrum - I've been taking lessons from my 20 month old grandson)

....ok got that off my chest now. back to stalking...

Not to mess with y'all, but I just want to mention that when watching for the summer discounts, they were loaded onto the site BEFORE 5am. That's the time I logged on and they were already there...Could happen with this, also...never know.

I just got the bands have shipped email a few minutes ago, too! I'm looking forward to seeing my purple band.
Now if Disney would only release info on a preview party.....
