we're doing a split stay and initially declined magic bands at the second resort. that'll be changing!

$129 per ticket is kind of steep...especially when I do not drink much alcohol. I paid $99 for the Villian Soiree at MK. That was worth it, but that was my breaking point. Now holding out for a Star Wars character meal for this summer. Fingers crossed.

It's not looking good for any SW character meals anytime soon, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Sci-Fi started their own breakfast, so that won't be any characters. H&V now has two character meals: Disney Jr and Minnie's Holiday at dinner. So, I don't see much room there. Rumors are that Mama Melrose will be going down for refurb or reconstruction soon. Supposedly, they won't be doing anymore Disney Star Wars characters, like Jedi Mickey.

Can someone tell me where the UPDATED info is on (a page on this thread?) Our ADR window opens tomorrow and I'd like to know if I should (if i CAN ) a RoL dining package or not. We don't have any Android devices, only Apple.

Dining packages are not available yet for reserving.

it can't be booked yet. Most recent rumour says March 11....but I will believe that when I see it!

OK thanks! Will just have to keep my eyes open then. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't "behind the door" about some new info in this regard. I checked the WDW dining page on my laptop (not an app) and didn't see anything available for AK dining package.

Magic bands updated!!! Thanks for the heads up. With 4 girls, one of them doesn't have to go with yellow anymore. Yayyy!

I never hold my breath. I can still hope for some pixie dust. We have already eaten at all the character meals and the Villian Soiree. Just hoping for something new.

W00t!! I think a lot of us are going to be rocking purple bands this year! I just called my SIL to tell her and she squealed like Elizabeth Banks in that Old Navy pants commercial. Thanks for the tip!

I've been waiting for this and of course already designed some custom magic bands skins that are star wars and don't match a purple band...I totally would have done a different design just so I could have a purple band!! Oh well..there's always the next trip!

Where can you design magic band skins. My kids would totally like that.

Google magic your band and then you can create your own and upload pictures. To find the picture I googled "Star Wars" and "banner" and then messed with the size and edited to add things in once I got the size correct. I think you can also design your own bands in the parks a few places - the store in the exit to Space Mountain is one place.

Nobody knows.
But, it would stand to reason that they would perform every night, at least for awhile.

Have to change dining reservation when ROL opens up. Wish they would hurry up and open ROL.
