What time is the ROL show? Wondering what time to select for our dinner. We were going to Boma (since nothing allowed a later reservation before) but may change to Tusker now, and try and add the package later if we can get it. But, I'm not sure what time to plan for dinner.

Sunset for May 13th is 8:46 PM. So, a safe bet would be starting at 9:00 PM?

So, dinner reservation at 6:30 PM in the park should be safe, based on this assumption, right?

No, it's a planning site. They have great FP availability tools.

No, I'm not a CM, I don't have access to the Hub. The Dibb I believe is just another site like this one, but in this case, the person on the thread linked is right on a lot of details. DH is a CM, he works in corporate and often gets tickets to preview events, etc. In this case he's been offered a ticket to something that sounds like a lot of fun.

Where is the option to add the RoLs package? I already have reservations for Tusker House for 10:30 on 7/27, but I don't see any options to change it... Thanks in advance!

As someone else said it can't be booked yet...but when it can be, you will have to cancel your existing reservation and book the package. You can't just add the package to the one you have. It's the same with Fantasmic, you can dine without the dining package. The package is a separate booking.

Oddly enough, I already have 4/15 as our AK day. So I'm hoping beyond hope that it pans out to be as posted at The Dibb. I'll gladly pay more for that event, especially with it being my Mom's one and only trip to The World. I want to do it up and do it up right during her trip.

I don't want to spoil it with what I know (which is, admittedly, not a whole lot!) the info will be available tomorrow and everyone can see then. If you follow the link to the thread on The Dibb, the guy on there seems to have quite a bit of info. It will be a hard ticket event after park hours at night, which in itself is usually fun at AK.

YES! We did Harambe Nights a couple summers ago and it was incredible. It sounds like a few features from it are going to appear at AK along with ROL and such. The stilt walkers, the Harambe street party with face paints, etc. If these ROL events are half of what HN was, it will blow you away.

The special events being referenced above? No, they are 3 nights only, based on info posted.
But ROL dinning packages, yes.

Is your response in regards to maryj1's post about a Special Activity in the MK?

There have already been loads of posts about the 3 preview RoL parties that go on sale tomorrow~ is that the event your husband has been invited to?

Here's the Dibb info that was posted before and the thread link

Below is a summary of the current info about the Rivers of Light preview events (not the dining ADRs). The info may change when Disney release the actual details tomorrow.

Premium Preview Event - 15th April. Ticket price $99(+tax). Includes unlimited food and alcoholic drinks, entry from 7pm, park closed to non-ticket holders. Get to see RoL before anyone else.

Preview Event - 16th April. Ticket price $49(+tax). Includes a dessert and soft drink, event starts at 7pm. Get to see RoL before the official opening date.

Preview Event - 17th April. Ticket price $49(+tax). Includes a dessert and soft drink, event starts at 7:30pm. Get to see RoL before the official opening date.

Tickets to all 3 events listed above go on general sale from 3pm (UK time) on 8th March. Reservations can be made online or by phone. These preview events will be listed under "Events" on Disney's website.

Rivers of Light officially opens on 22nd April. From this date, anyone with valid admission to AK will be able to see the RoL show without paying extra.
