I don't believe the actual restuarant is but seating areas are being refurbed.

I hope that's true. My husband nearly had a meltdown and wanted to cancel our trip because it was closed when we were there last June. If it's closed again this June I will never hear the end of it. Of course, he's also going to have a hissy fit if he can get his food at Flame Tree but there's nowhere to sit. This isn't going to turn out well for me at all.

Our Epcot day is June 6th. Lord. I was sure Soarin' would still be closed. So complicated if May 28the is the opening. Lol.

I heard late June or early July, so I traded some of my Epcot time for DHS time. A good problem to have if it does reopen in time, but still, a problem. Though really only if FEA opens before our trip, too.

Right now I'm trying to decide my Epcot and AK days. Does anyone think the crowd calendars will be all wrong with the new night time activities at AK? Right now we are planning on going to AK on a Sunday which is recommended on easywdw and a 7 on touring plans. Do you think it will be more crowded then what they think? My guess is AK is going to throw a wrench in all the work they have done to decide on their crowd predictions.

We had the choice begween Sunday 5/1 and Monday 5/2 for AK and I chose Monday even though it's an AM EMH day because it seemed logical there would be less guests on a Monday evening than a Sunday evening. *shrug*

Also, if dining package starts 5/1 then maybe 5/2 will have a marginally better availability lol.

Then again it may even out the crowds in other parks especially MK. I wonder if a Tuesday will better than a Sunday?

I was thinking that locals may be slightly more likely to come in to catch the show on a weekend; however, maybe they know better to avoid weekend crowds? Lol who knows...

If there really are three shows per night, I'd think the latest one would be the emptiest, as it always goes - especially during the week. Locals have work & their kids have school. That's the one I would try for if I had no guaranteed seating.

Told him there are reports of the preview parties
Before I said anything else he said you have to do whatever you can go to to one
He said there is no way you can be there and not go

(So not wanting to start my March Break with a 5:55 AM alarm - especially since it's only a maybe that dining packages will be released tomorrow.)

Our trip is not until August, but as a party of 8 I've found it's best to book things early. Wishing all of you mid to late April and early May people the best of luck!

Keeping ipad on nightstand with brightness dimmed so I don't get blinded, keeping login screen loaded in Safari, and have CC beside ipad. I figure if it is available, adrenaline will get me through. If it's not, I can just roll over and go back to sleep!
