I just booked this, too! I read some reviews and spoiled the surprise for myself but I think my DD (6) is really going to enjoy it. I'm glad they have you call to book this since there are some interesting "rules" the CM explained that I might have broken otherwise - no backpacks or tote bags allowed, and adults need photo ID at check-in.

Just got off the phone - so nice to actually be able to book something after all the frustrating ROL calls, lol! I couldn't believe it was available so close! I spoiled the surprise for myself too - but given my nature as an over-reasearcher, it's tough to avoid! They said it's a little different ever time, so it will still be a surprise! I'm really excited about this tour, I think it will be really fun!

So now I have both the Family Magic Tour for all of us booked, AND the Pirate Adventure Cruise for the kids - not sure if we'll keep the latter, but that takes care of the preview party $!!

Hey everyone!

Great news ... Disney didn't postpone RoL!

They just moved it!

It's in my backyard!



It looks great! You can tell they worked really hard on the water and the light, but I didn't really expect the sound to be so loud ... I mean, it's scaring my dog, so I'm sure it might scare the animals when they move it back to AK.

If you'd like to see it, come on by ... I've got three kids, so I have drinks and glowsticks on-hand at all times ... we can have our "I got to see RoL before YOU did" party!

I'm in - we should assign a committee to build lotus floats...let me know what I can bring!

I'm also leaning towards at least one nail on each hand with an animal print. Last trip I did black white and silver for Steamboat Willie with a hidden Mickey in crystals.

It was so much fun, for all of us. (Kids 3 and 7, grandparents and mom) Our tour guide was really great with all of the kids and my kids felt really special going into some of the spaces they are not allowed to touch at MK.

Looks like the first two dates (4/26 and 4/30) are now sold out.

I was just checking dates and it looks like they're *all* sold out right now. I wouldn't be surprised if the first 2 sold out really quickly as all the bloggers/press want to get to one of the events so they can write about it. But *all* of the dates sold out already???? Either they're only selling a few hundred tickets for each date *OR* Disney's website is showing that message in error. I know which one I hope it is....but I'm also realistic enough to realize which one it really is.

EMM is under Dining because breakfast is included. DAH is under "Events and Tours," here. If you click "Purchase Admission," it looks like all of the planned dates still have availability.

So on a whim I looked to see if EMM was sold out for the day we're going to RD. It's not. Neither is the Tues that week. It may well sell out between now and when we go but it's interesting to me that it didn't sell out right away. Not like BOG breakfast or like, oh ... I don't know ... ROL dining packages would have.

Not that I'm bitter.

I don't think anyone knows for sure, and Disney is unlikely to confirm, but I think @yulilin3 said that around 750 is most likely. I also read in another thread that Pinocchio's has a seating capacity of around 400.

We were taking pictures with my new camera and CM came up to us. We talked about the camera and he said "How would you like to test it out from VIP seats?" It was probably the same CM, he is one of them in charge of parade, James. Great guy, spent some time after with him too. He's at MK now. (To keep relevant with the RoL thread he told us lots about it).

Funny was when he asked I was wracking my brain to figure out where the VIP seating was .... it didn't click with me. Then he says we are his first so we can pick our float. We chose the "Goofy Float."

My DS is disabled. He didn't blink at our vests and hats but didn't understand why we were going backstage. We climbed on our float and then all these characters started walking out. His eyes got so big and they all came to see him. He was so excited. He is VERY MUCH in to characters. Then we start moving, totally perplexed. We rolled out the gates and the place was packed. He didn't quite get it. But then we noticed that people were looking at him and starting to smile and wave to him, some were lifting their cameras to take pictures of him. It was like a light switch went off his face lit up and he started waving to everyone. It really was special for our family because of him. It's not often he is a "star" usually on the sidelines watching his siblings. It was obvious people were reacting to him. We were merely his entourage. One of our great WDW memories!

Of course being the emotional sap that I am, I got teary eyed reading this! I LOVE when people get Disney magic even when it's not me!

Thought i would share a funny story, knowing this group would appreciate.
Thanks to you all, I signed up for the TP reservation finder for bog in September (you may know that there were no bog reservations available after 6pm for all of September). Even though I signed up, I still stalked almost constantly. Because, you know, that's what we do.

Yesterday I was at the dentist mid-cleaning when my phone started dinging like crazy. I thought it might have been bog opening up and I was right! I kindly asked my hygeniest to sit tight for a minute while I booked them. Felt very glamorous wearing my paper towel necklace thingy LOL.
But I got em!

I am rooting for all of you who are making ROL-alterna-plans to get a little pixie dust from somewhere too!

I got an alert at 4:30am today for a 5:55pm BOG dinner on 10/2 (we're planning on MNSSHP that day). Unfortunately, by the time I woke up and saw the text, the ADR was gone. At least I still have about 6 months to have TP keep checking for me!

I did not try every date, but I got the same message for every one I tried. I am hoping that means there are a really small number of tickets and the impact on RD and PPO ADRs will be minimal.
