I just want to say "Thanks" to all on this thread. I have been lurking since page one when I became excited about possibly seeing ROL during my trip in early May. I have read almost every page and this thread has been a hoot. A baby was born, Maggie became an internet sensation and T-shirts and buttons were created! Everyone was friendly and helpful. I'm kind of sad I won't get to see ROL, SW fireworks, or the new Soarin during my trip but now I can make other plans and move on to concentrating on the Flower & Garden Festival. Thanks again to everyone for a record breaking thread. It's been a blast!

Now I am especially glad that we cancelled our late April/May DVC trip a few weeks ago. There are also 4-5 of those $149 MK Parties scheduled during the time we would have been there.

Well I guess I won't have to extend my trip 1 more night for the River Of Lies. . Here's to hoping that it's up and running by August. Although the Charlie Brown football feeling will still linger knowing that I was almost there on the first night.

I was looking to get a shirt and wear it proudly to the show Apr 26. Now, I can't bring myself to justify $30 for a tank top that I'll just get mad at whenever I look at it. I will still keep a sharp eye out for my fellow Loungers though...

There's this one... Maybe we could light it on fire?

Trash can
2 oz vodka
2 oz white rum
2 oz gin
2 oz triple sec
2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1 can Red Bull® energy drink
ice

Take cup and loosely fill halfway with ice. Add shot vodka, white rum, gin, triple sec, and blue curacao. Open can of Red Bull and pour half of it into the cup, and then dunk the can below the water level, so half of the Red Bull is still in the upside-down can.

Chug drink through a straw as fast as possible. When you reach the bottom, lift the can of Red Bull out of the cup to refill the trash can, and resume chugging.

Wait 3-5 minutes for results.

Pin perhaps? Or you could buy a t-shirt and use some fabric markers to make your own Flaming Dumpster design?

It's going to be so weird not checking the Disney site when I get up and again at 6am tomorrow. I may have time to squeeze in some extra yoga or do some sewing. What the heck am I supposed to do every morning for the next month? suggestions welcome.

Is it bad that I kind of hope that they make an announcement now that it's just not going to be ready for my trip at the end of June/beginning of July?!?!?! I'm tired of all of this already... and it's not like we have another trip planned - I have no idea when/if we are going back for years; however, I'm getting to the point where I don't care if I get to see this show or not. How fabulous can they possibly make it after all this hype??? They are going to have to set the river on fire and fireworks will need to shoot out of the shaman's a$$!!

For those who can benefit...here are the 7 stages of grief...at one time or another I've hit every single one of them with our journey along this "river"....not preaching here, just saying I got all the to acceptance, but I went back and forth a couple of times on some of them. Not sure the bargaining or guilt apply, but the anger and depression sure do!

Hey all! I've been watching, reading, laughing, cheering and joining in the disappointment of today's announcement since the beginning of the thread. Have not been on the boards since our last trip five years ago and had to recreate a new sign in because what I had remembered did not work. Bummer to earn my ears all over again but wanted to say that I am sorry for those with trips planned shortly and thank you to all those posters with a sense of humor. This has by far been my most favorite thread to watch and read on the boards in 10 years!

Wanted to share that I had a CM tell me on the phone about a month back that I was in for a real treat as Toy Story Land would be open when we visit in August, lol!!!! What?!? First and last I heard of this! Didn't think so and haven't heard a peep. Our trip is planned for THIS August. So again, a grain of salt with the non official comments received over the phone! And I wasn't speaking to Maggie!!!!
