However, it does not seem to be really improving my disposition as I wait for ROL info AND wait to see if this new Morning Hootenanny affects my April plans...

heheh.... I totally got you. I simply love that Hootenanny got used on this thread. If a commemorative t-shirt is made, I'd love it to include something along the lines of "I was there for the hootenanny...." hehehe(300+ pages of Hootenanny Hilarity!)

I agree - I wasn't worried too much before about the start date, as the BLOG told me so! but starting to at this point. Again, it's the lack of info - I could deal with an announcement that it's delayed, yet they really seem to want to keep us on the hook. They could issue FPs for that first week, and if it was delayed they could offer something to appease (extra FP or whatever) as time got closer. Better than this silliness!

well, I am definitely pacified a bit my the MNSSHP dates and new costume rules... we just missed it last year and I am happy they are starting earlier this year!

Well currently I have at least 4 styles/designs of mugs in my cupboard with multiple colors each so probably somewhere around 20. That is after I gave some pink ones to my nieces and some blue ones to my nephews. And we dont even drink soda onsite! But they work well for my coffee in the morning and I dont care if ones gets lost on the soccer field/ left behind at the baseball field etc back at home.

Question about these mugs. if check in is the 15th and check out is the 20th and you buy the mug on the 15th - will you be able to fill it on the 20th? or would I only get 5 days to fill it since I am only staying 5 nites?

I've been following this thread, not active on it yet. My trip is not until August so I figured I'd lay low and let this April launch happen before I get too panicky about booking a ROL dining package (hopefully at Tiffins). I feel for all of you with trips in late April looking for any sort of confirmation.

I feel like I'm waiting for a lot right now, there's ROL, then I'm sitting waiting on MNSSHP dates in case for some crazy reason they have early Sept parties this year (seeing 7pm closings early in Sept, but was the same last year and it never panned out), I'll be all over that. Then there is Pirates & Pals, which they have not yet released yet for late August/early September apparently because those dates are in limbo until the party dates are sorted out (according to one CM I spoke to, take that for what it's worth).

So I wait, and check and wait some more and then make 5 versions of my touring plan to fill the time.

We purchased mugs for our last trip and had a split stay, with 3 days at Universal in between ,and our mugs were good for the entire time. I believe they are good for 14 days from purchase date now if I am thinking correctly.

They are actually good for 14 nights regardless of your length of stay

This non ROL info we are getting is making me extremely cranky at work. I am not sure if its from lack of sleep or what but I have not been a fun person to be around today. I sure hope something good happens soon. I cant keep this pace up

You can go to MK for $125 a day, but if you want to see "Wishes", you might have to pay an extra $150 because it starts after 7Pm--- ( and don't even think of getting a FP!!).

You can go to see DHS and check out the new SW FW or Fantasmic! --- if they are not knocked down during construction !! And don't dare get hungry, because all of the restaurants will be closing to make room for the new attractions that should be ready by the time the next two SW movies are released.

You can go to Epcot and see "Illuminations"" - ( my personal choice) --- but ya better hurry, because I have a feeling that Disney is going to "Universalize" Epcot-- separate admission for Future World and WS ( I can see it down the road)

That brings us to "ROL"-- while not a fireworks show--- still a nighttime spectacular --- but it might be better to just see what the 5th park has to offer, as both shows will be opening Earth Day sometime this century.
