Rumors of Light (ROL discussion thread)

I'm not a fan of the "Pay $25 to split breakfast among 4 adults so we can dash to 7DMT before the park opens" strategy, but I can't help but wonder if people taking advantage of that lead Disney to this idea - "hey lets charge people for it since they want in early. Lets give the people what they want!"

PS. Cousin is in labor. Baby on its way. If ROL packages are released today, I will let her know that the baby needs to be named appropriately. It's a girl so her choices are: Riverella, ROLanda, or Maggie.

What branch of Disney does it concern most?

I don't know - that's why I emailed guest services. To make it short - Disney has this list of "Disney Featured Providers" for outside stroller and wheelchair rental. I know you basically get on the list by paying Disney a premium. Anyways, I had a very bad run in with one of those companies and found out I'm not the only one. Their conduct would be something to get sued over here in Europe (don't know how that is in the US though). I just feel like that is something that Disney should be aware of, especially since I only picked them because they are a "Disney Featured Provider".

Off Topic:
Disney Early Morning Magic- Fantasyland

Guests Check-In beginning at 7:30am at the Main Entrance of Magic Kingdom, by the Far Left Hand Side Turnstiles. Guests will receive a sticker for identification.

At 7:45am Guests are allowed to enter Magic Kingdom. They will make their way to Fantasyland where they will be free to enjoy Peter Pan’s Flight, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
no dates or prices have been given out

Now depending on the cost, I might pay for this. With a preschooler and a baby on the way, we'll be spending the next few years up at the crack of dawn anyway, so this would be perfect. Unless it's another $149 option.

What will they do with people who have early ADRs though? Will they stop them riding the rides early?

Wristbands, possibly!? Something to that effect, so that the "early morning magic" people or whatever are the only ones that can get on the rides?!

Honestly I don't know who would be best to contact for that sorry.

I'm hoping guest services will pass it on to whoever can address this issue. I know Disney can't do anything about how this company does their business but what they can do is look into their "partnership". I know I am not the only one this has happened to.

They won't have the sticker so they'll deny them access to the rides early.

So for the EARLY MORNING MAGIC- any guess at price? Since the 3 hrs at night is for most of the park(or so people think) and is $50 an hr, what would one land for 1 hr be?

I rarely get up for these as my kids are older and want to sleep in, but I have been on tours and like the early am just like I like the very late nights. I like the emptiness.
