Interestingly enough, I was the one that got the CM RoL tshirt the day they released the merch for CM (April 11th) today on the Hub there's an article saying that CM RoL merchandise will not be sold until April 22nd to "better align" with the highly anticipated Rivers of Light show"...whatever that means, funny thing is I wore my shirt yesterday

I sure feel sorry for those poor call center folks...they are taking it in the teeth, and have to keep being sweet and happy. I sure couldn't do that job! It seems pretty unfair for an employer to put people through this kind of thing over and over with each new event.

I have been surprised that the honest comments and concerns have lasted on the Parks Blog Page. Usually that place is required to be 100% happy all the time. I'm curious if there will an answer today, or some poofs.

Nothing new on the HUB, still says RoL opening April 22nd. The first preview show info has dissappeared, there's only info on inclement weather procedures for premium event and preview on the 17th, so no 16th info, that's it. No mention of Tiffins at all.
On an unrelated note TSMM will have a delayed opening today, it'll open at noon. Yesterday was the day it was down for the third track testing

Thanks for the update. Is Toy Story going to be opening that third track soon? I know I have seen dates, but can't remember now! (And I'm hoping they bring Mr. Potato Head back soon!)

the official Disney word is "Summer" we know that Summer to them means last weekend in May, so hopefully very, very soon

Mine was a little unpleasant today. Same information, but there was no effort to soften the blow or at any type of congeniality. She actually just didn't respond to my questions to clarify what she was saying. I've spoken to her before, I recognized her voice from earlier in the week. She's definitely no Maggie. I get that they are frustrated too but I was my usual polite, cheerful self and I'm just doing what I've been instructed to do. Cut me loose and tell me it's not happening, and I'll move on, but if not, here I am...

Your updates are so appreciated.
I realize that preview date information may change, but in the meantime it's very helpful to hear what's new day to day. The 17th is a much better day for us, so fingers crossed.

But you'd think they could either temporarily increase the seats included at TH or temporarily increase the number of FP
Even when Tiffins opens they will have more guests who want a package than there are packages and at the start no one knows how many there are so they wouldn't know some are missing without Tiffins being included

I don't think they could do that given that lots of people currently have TH reservations. If they held back availability 6 months ago or have been quietly snatching up reservations that come free I guess it's possible. Part of me thinks they are banking on some of the people with existing reservations "converting" them to packages. I know they don't do that with Fantasmic but this is a new opening with a restaurant that's already mostly filled. Tiffins and FT are different situations.

I'd love to know the behind the scenes on all this.

I just want a Tiffins reservation at this point with or without ROL package. Been waiting for AK updates for years and we are right around the corner from our Anniversary trip now.
It's my fav park and can't wait to see it at night.

Keeping my fingers crossed, as my trip starts the day after RoL (supposedly).

AK at night is so gorgeous! We've been able to experience it on our last trip in 2013 when they suddenly extended hours one day to past dusk....

If, as a CM said yesterday, the debut was postponed surely the HUB would be the first place it's updated

Yep and it was me he was responding to! I was Going to comment back but I already now that he strictly goes by what is released and not what he thinks he rummors. Was hoping he had more info then the rest of us lol!!! Yes the CM are now reading a script. I asked yesterday about it and I laughed when my CM read it to me. I told her it sounded like they were swarmed with people asked about ROL packages and she just laughed. She was overly sweet to me but I think she was just relieved I was making a regular ADR lol!!! I decided to make dinner ADR for Boathouse on our AK day just in case Dinsney can not get their act together. I already went through this very same thing with the opening of 7DMT. Never did open on time for my May 2014 trip

The state of communications at Disney is very, very sad. And it affects everyone involved, the guests and the Cast Members.
Side Story: I was at DHS yesterday and decided to ask the CM and a manager for the fireworks dessert party why the party wasn't being offered April 18th. You go to the site and see all available dates through April 30th but April 18th is grayed out...
So I asked why is April 18th grayed out, the CM and manager (they were standing together) told me "The dessert party runs until March 30th....I tell them "No, it's available until April 30th" They take out a paper from their pockets and look through it and say "Oh, yeah, it sayd dates have been added" I ask again "Why is there no dessert party on the 18th?" They tell me "Oh, maybe it's sold out?" So I proceed to explain that when something is sold out it will tell you but you can still click on it...they just looked puzzled and told me to call....guess where...WDW DINE
