Rumored deals???

We are booked Feb 8-12 at pop...which is 5 days/4 nights...

so is the 5/2 value deal refer to how many days you are booking or how many nights?

they go by nights, but you need to make sure you buy tickets for however many days...so it is 5 days(you would need to buy tickets) but a 4 night stay.

Change Package!!!

I called and asked if I can change my package - they are very tricky. I was currently booked at Pop, and I asked for the 4/3 deal, she said that is not available for POP- but she did not divulge the 5/2 to me... I was hoping for another 4/3 and upgrading when I originally booked Pop... so what did I end up doing... switched my ressie to AKL Pool view!!!! Yippee... within my budget due to the deal and perfect for my DD and I!!!

Ok, for someone who is staying at a Value what do I ask for? On page 29 of this thread it gives a code GJV which talks about free QS & upgrading to DDP. Then on another page, someone mentioned to use code GNW. What do I need to use/ask for???? Thanks!

Ok just to make sure...
4/3 for mod or dlx...
comes with tickets or do you have to buy tickets?:wizard:

I tried code GNW for a ressie in March, and was told it wasn't a valid code. Anyone have any idea about a different code for 2010, in a value?

What about the code for the deluxe or mods? Still trying to find one of those. I had a CM that tried to look & find. Found one, but it didn't have room avail. for the client I called about. This is the same CM that couldn't get the GNW to work for her. Started wondering if the deluxe code she found was the right one. :confused3 Currenly calling back, hoping for a different CM with a little more knowledge.

Just cancelled my room only Poly ressie and got a new ressie with the 4/3 deal!! The CM knew exactly what I was talking about and no code was necessary. Thanks to all of you for the heads up!

Okay, on another thread someone said the Mod code is KOW. I didn't need a code but seems some are asking for one.

You do need to buy tickets with at least the Mods, so I would think for the deluxe also.

We are staying at the POP feb 13-21. just called and you have to specifically ask for the 5/2 deal....there is no free dining for after the first of the year and I believe that the free dining promo for this year is past the booking dates so no longer available but double check me on that. i didn't need a code to apply the discount to my ressie....since we are staying 8 nights and have 8 day MYW with park hopper option only and reg dining the deal saved us around $500! my mom is going with us and under her ressie, i applied the code and she saved around $300! Glad for any deal that will ease the pocketbook! good luck!

on mousesavers it says the deal is only available to Disney Visa holders and will be available to general public on Thursday:

"Disney Rewards Visa 7-for-4 or 7-for-5 Package Offer for November 2009 - March 2010
Disney Rewards Visa cardholders can purchase a fantastic buy 4, get 7 or buy 5, get 7 vacation package offer valid for stays November 1 - December 24, 2009 through January 3 - March 27, 2010. (Disney says some dates are blacked out for this offer, but it's possible a few hotels are available during those dates.)

I expect the same offer will be made available to the general public on Thursday, October 1.

Here are the details:

Buy a 4-night/4 day vacation package at a MODERATE, DELUXE or DELUXE VILLA resort, get a 7-night/7-day package. That's 3 FREE hotel nights and 3 extra days on your theme park admission tickets, equivalent to a 43% discount on your room and tickets! You must buy a package that includes at least 4 nights' accommodations at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel plus minimum 4-day Magic Your Way Base Tickets to qualify for the 3 FREE nights and the 3 extra days on your tickets.

Buy a 5-night/5 day vacation package at a VALUE resort, get a 7-night/7-day package. That's 2 FREE hotel nights and 2 extra days on your theme park admission tickets, equivalent to a 29% discount on your room and tickets! You must buy a package that includes at least 5 nights' accommodations at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel plus minimum 5-day Magic Your Way Base Tickets to qualify for the 2 FREE nights and the 2 extra days on your tickets.

Extra days on a ticket don't cost that much, so the primary savings are on the hotel room portion, so the higher category hotels offer the most total savings.

To calculate your approximate savings on a "buy 4, get 7" package at a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort:

Multiply the room rate (2009 or 2010) times 3 (savings of 3 nights' room rate).
Add $9.58 per person (ticket savings for the 3 extra days).
The total is your savings.
To calculate your approximate savings on a "buy 5, get 7" package at a Value resort:

Multiply the room rate (2009 or 2010) times 2 (savings of 2 nights' room rate).
Add $6.39 per person (approx ticket savings for the 2 extra days).
The total is your savings.
You can stay longer than 7 nights (up to 10 nights) with this package, but there is a maximum of 3 free nights and 3 extra days per ticket, per stay, if you will be staying in a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort, or 2 free nights and 2 extra days per ticket, per stay, if you will be staying in a Value resort.

You can stay less than 7 nights, but you still must purchase 4 nights at a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort, or 5 nights at a Value resort, so you'll end up with fewer free nights/extra days. Obviously a 7-night stay is the best deal!

You can add the Quick Service Dining Plan for 2009 or 2010, the regular Dining Plan for 2009 or 2010, or the Deluxe Dining Plan for 2009 or 2010, but you will pay full price for your dining plan (no free days of dining).

The package includes standard Magic Your Way Base Tickets. You can upgrade them with the Park Hopper, Water Parks & More and/or No Expiration option(s), but you'll pay the regular price for those upgrades.

This offer cannot be applied to the Premium or Platinum packages or to "split stays" (for example, 4 nights at one hotel, 3 nights at another).

You must book this special package by 12/20/09."

Hmmm. I'm not a Disney Visa cardholder and had no trouble booking the deal.

Eduardo asked me what promotion I was calling about. He wasn't going to give anything away until I told him it was the buy 4 nights get 3 free.
He did not ask for a code.

Changed my reservation at the WL from 1/23 - 1/30 to 12/13 - 12/20. Unfortunately only Courtyard view was available under the promotion on my travel dates. Still, $400 less than the standard view I had already booked.

Good luck everyone!

So, all of you lucky dogs that have posted having gotten the discount applied have Disney Visa?

:sunny:

I just called and CSR (where I had a AAA ressie) wasn't available for my dates, so I had to upgrade to Wilderness Lodge:thumbsup2 It's still going to save us $100!

OK, just got off the phone with a very professional gentleman called Ferris(?)

Set up a totally new reservation.

I mentioned that I had read about a new 7 nights for the price of 4 offer on 'DISBoards.com'. He confirmed that it existed (did not require that I have a code, or that I have a Disney VISA) and set up the following:

Checking in on 12/11, checking out on 12/18 (7 nights)

Polynesian Garden View, 3 adults (extra $25 a night - those darn 19 year old kids).

7 Day passes with the Hopper Option (only).

Total Price: $2,657.37 (I declined the travel insurance - anyone else notice that the travel insurance costs more than the cancellation charge, no sense in that at all)

So if you don't get the offer the first time, just keep calling - it's available.

...

Yeah, she did ask if I wanted to do my deposit with my Disney Visa, and since I did I didn't think anything of it, but I wonder if i said no, another card, would I have gotten the deal? Hmmm... glad I have the DV!!:goodvibes

I don't have a Disney Visa- we called and didn't even need the code - the cast member knew what we were talking about and booked it with no problems. Only took about 10 minutes. Ours was a new reservation too - we had a room only package, and they had to cancel and refund the deposit on that one and book as a new package. They even gave us 7 days to pay the new deposit. :cool1:

My first call this morning got me POP for 7 nights 2/7-2/14 with 7 day base & Quick service for $2143. After thinking about it I called back and got same dates at CBR w/ Qiuck service & 7 day base for $2235. Ended up $92 more for moderate, but in the grand scheme of things that is not much at all for the upgrade.

My numbers are not making sense to me. 1/22/2010 1/29/2010, we have 7 nights at CBR standard room. 2 adults, 2 children (6 and 3) with 8 day park hoppers and the standard dining plan. Total was 2566.14. Seems a bit higher than what I get when I price it out online.

What is everyone else getting with 2A and 2C at a moderate with dining?
