Rumored deals???

And you must purchase Magic Your Way tickets to match the number of nights of your stay.

This to me sounds like the room only is buy 4 get 3. It does not say you will get any nights free on your ticket. It says you must "purchase". Although the savings on the tickets was very small, it was still something.

4/3 would be good but i wish they would add in a $200 gift card or something that makes the deal better than last year for January.

I will be a little disappointed if the deal for the values resorts is 5/2. I will sure take any savings, but we are at our hotel so little that it doesnt make sense for us to spend more on a room at a mod or dlx. can anyone help me figure out what our savings would be to arrive at POP 2/13 and depart 2/21 with 8 day park hoppers and regular dining....2 adults 2 kids....if they do a 5/3 or a 4/3. i have been looking but with a child home with the flu, my brain is zapped....thanks!

So how does this work if your vacation is planned the end of March /first of April. If this deal happens and our trip is planned for the last 3 days of March and the first 4 days of April will they honor the get 3 free deal or does the entire vacation have to occur before March 31st?
Thanks

If this deal will work the way that past package deals have worked then you only have to have your first day of your vacation fall within the promotion dates.

The end of March beginning of April is the week before Easter this year (Easter is April 4). Typically, they say that the week before and after Easter Sunday are blacked out on the promotions.

We went the week after Easter this past year (April 11-18, 2009...Easter Sunday was the 12th) and we were able to take advantage of the 4/3 deal...even though they said those dates were blacked out. When the deal first came out in November, I tried putting in our dates and it wouldn't run it with the promotion. One day when I was playing around with my Disney planning in January, I tried it again and it ran them at the deal, so I called our Grand Gathering coordinator at Disney and they confirmed that we could in fact have the deal over Easter and we applied that code to everyone in our Grand Gathering....and upgraded from the Pop to Coronado Springs. So, long story short....Disney probably won't offer this discount to Easter week at first, but they might offer it in a few months. Oh, they also didn't advertise it either for those weeks...the explanation still said those dates were blacked out, but if you went ahead with the reservation process it let you get the 4/3 deal.

I am really hoping for this deal over Easter week this year. Right now I am planning on staying at Fort Wilderness, but we will switch to PO-R if we can get this deal.

Mid April is when we really want to go, not March, but I'm just afraid if we don't change our dates and go with this 4/3 deal that they won't extend it into April. Do you all think they will offer it into April as well or do you think that March is as far as it will go this year since they are also including part of 2009???
Thanks

Only a prediction, but I am guessing it will eventually run untila t least the end of June. I don't think the economy is much better this year from last and they want to fill up those rooms.

Len Testa now rumoring buy 4 get 3 free deal to start booking next week for 10/1/09 - 3/10. With values only offering buy 5 get 2 free.

That deal doesn't impress me.

I think buy 5 get 2 is an awful deal. Just my opinion though. Guess if you were staying deluxe, it might be better, but for those staying value, not much of a savings.

I will keep my August dates and wait for free dining. I was contemplating moving up my dates., if a good deal was offered.

It would seem to be a good deal for folks staying at mods or deluxes for a week. It is an OK deal for values, but nothing great. It is meaningless for people staying less than a week. If true, this should push many guests from value to mod. Values should be a bit emptier, and perhaps more busy with guests planning stays shorter than a week.

I'm going to keep wishing for free dining :worship: It would save us alot more than the 4/3 deal. I really hope we know something in the next couple of days. :surfweb:

Yup. I'm holding out for free dining too.

Overall, I'm expecting something equal to or better than last year's offers. Maybe this would be Disney's first round of offers. If they still need to fill rooms we'll see better stuff. :confused3

This makes perfect sense. Look at all the people on here who book the values for free dining. Disney doesn't seem to have much trouble getting people into the values with other promotions. The problem is filling the mod and deluxe resorts.

IF they offer the 4/3 deal and it is not for April at the beginning, I would book for March and change to April if it comes out. Just remember-THIS IS ONLY A RUMOR:cool1:

Are they going to announce them on the same day? I am loving this. I am booked for March at rack rate and it is painful, I hate paying full price!! Now to figure out which is a better deal at a moderate for eight nights, free dining or 4/3, probably free dining.

We are doing the same thing getting in Feb 27th and staying until March 7th. Pricing out the trip without a code is making me sick. So hoping for free dining it would make things so much nicer!:lovestruc

Question: If there is a 4-7 deal, and I'm only booked for 4 nights, is there any way that this deal could help me?

?? Sorry, but I guess I'm not following the rumors closely enough---on which source are you basing this?

Here's the latest from the touringplans.com site for those of you who haven't read it:

Details are still being worked out, but we’ve heard from multiple, usually-reliable sources that Disney’s Buy-4-Get-7 deal will return next week. The announcement may be made as early as Monday, but could be as late as Thursday. Value resorts will have a slightly different “Buy-5-Get-2″ deal. Travel dates, we hear, could be October 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010. Book by December 20, 2009 (we think that’ll be extended). And you must purchase Magic Your Way tickets to match the number of nights of your stay.

Take all of this with a grain of salt, in particular the announcement dates.

not with a 4/3 deal. Call and see if they have a room available for your dates using a AAA discount, then get a AAA membership if they do. At least that is better than no discount!
