Ok, this is from UK media, and NOT from Disney, so make your own decision about how true or not it is. But its more than we have had for a long time

CRUISE holidays have been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic, with all cruise lines forced to cease operations after multiple ships saw the virus spread through passengers and crew like wildlife. These are the dates when the major companies are restarting.

Cruise holidays have been on hold for months as a result of the pandemic. Cruises were cancelled left, right and centre as multiple countries banned sailings during the coronavirus crisis. However, as the world begins to recover, some cruise lines are restarting operations in the coming months.

I have zero knowledge on this just a guess based on The DCL weekly specials list. But I don't think they will start cruising again until Jan. 2021.
No specials listed before 2021.

Like I say, just a guess.

All they did was cut and paste Cruise Critics' same list. Those are just the dates of the cruises that aren't cancelled yet. Like the Fantasy 11/02. It doesn't mean DCL is resuming on 11/02, it just means that's when their next uncancelled cruise is still on the books for.

I’m wondering if the lack of specials is a way to keep the numbers down? Said they expected to sail at 70%, for holiday cruises they already might be there. Although early December is usually quite reduced in numbers anyway. Just thinking about the dining rooms and how to get 6 feet away from another table.... It’s kind of like they would have to remove every other table. Not many people are willing to take late dining, although I rather favor it myself. There’s a huge amount of cruisers that we can consider late night dining because of kids sleeping through dinner.

It would be nice if that article was right. However, I completely agree with T & R. This isn't any kind of confirmation of ships sailing. It just lists the dates that are after the currently announced cancellations. We've all seen these rolling cancellations extended multiple times since March.

Until we hear of crew being recalled to join the ships, none of us are going anywhere aboard them unfortunately. It is now September. Recalling crew will take time. Will they be on board for November sailings? Maybe if they start today? Not sure. I think these dates are unlikely.

No one knows yet

If I looked hard enough online I could find a News paper artical about the last lot of cruise dates it was meant to be

the news papers probably do this every time it changes. Doesn’t mean it will happen

Any speculation for starting back cruising (any cruise lines) is good news in my opinion. Understand that is is just that, speculation but thats why we have the internet and boards like this is to keep us in the loop even if it is not fact.

At least it is something. I think we need some news even if it is maybe true, maybe not true. The cruise line has been so silent and it has been frustrating. I was beginning to think they had left town and closed up shop, lol.

This is literally just a restating of what has come from the cruise lines though. All it tells you is the date of the first not yet cancelled cruise. Disney has provided that information.

I like how people criticize the article for being speculation then go on to speculate themselves. Hilarious.
I mean I kinda get how the speculation is different. Everyone on the board here has an opinion and wants to talk about Disney or cruising in general. But we all realize we’re not getting a dime for our comments.
But I think many, like myself, feel if you’re going to get paid for your comments there’s a slightly different standard of content expected. Cut and paste like that was more like plagiarism then a informational statement of facts of future events.

I love that I can put some crazy ideas out here sometimes. I love a good “think outside of the box” moment. Really fun “what if” moment. But that article didn’t have much to offer.
But it didn’t get me as upset as the one that offered Halloween Disney cruising as an alternative to lack of Halloween WDW opportunity. That was shameful in my opinion.

Why would you want false news? I can make up stuff if you are that hard up and dont care if its reality based. LOL

That was a stupid alternative. We cant party on land but we can at sea.
