Rumor! Ticket Price Increase in Mid-February!

Same link on the TPA&S board.

Sure, Disney may raise ticket prices in mid-February. Or they might do it this coming Sunday, or the end of July, or not at all this year. Point is, nobody knows. Nobody knew last year. Before last year, Travel Agents may have had a couple of days' warning.

And the rumor about non-expiring tickets went around last year, too.

And that's why I posted it as a rumor and not a fact.

But there's nothing wrong with being prepared. We stand a chance of getting a couple of feet of snow by tomorrow or we could only get a few inches. Does that mean that I shouldn't make sure that I have an emergency plan in place? I'm still going to make sure that I have my generator out, batteries, and enough food to wait out the storm.

People who have been holding off on buying tickets may want to get them sooner rather than later. Or at least start to get their money together for a quick purchase next month.

I saw it posted yesterday and went ahead and bought the non expire, 10 day, park hopping , water park and more. Better to be prepared than pay more later.
I would much rather save a few dollars now

If you are looking to purchase, the non expire , 10 day, park hopper, WP&More was $803 on Orbitz and $755 from UT

They are going up FOR SURE within the next few weeks. It was confirmed in my local Disney Store. They told me they could not order any bigger tickets or AP vouchers until the price increase took effect.

I for one appreciate you posting this info.
I don't come on the boards often, so your info was the first time I heard it!:goodvibes

I think this does it for us and Disney. We have about 30 days worth of non-exp tickets between the 2 of us. After they're gone, we're done with Disney.

Does this mean the ticket deal on Orbitz will go up as well?

It depends. Are those tickets bought from Disney and sold through Orbitz? If they are, typically current stock will be sold at current price until gone.

No one knows for sure until the price increase. And it will increase, we just don't know when.
