rumor of Nov opening for Mine Train

It looks like it's coming along. I don't think a November opening is out of the question, but I wouldn't count on it.

In mid-October 2006 we had the pleasure of being part of a soft opening of Nemo in Epcot! It was awesome to see it brand spanking new!

Maybe we'll get REALLY lucky and stumble upon a soft opening of Mine Train in late October 2013. ( a girl can dream!)

I think getting Yeti 2.0 working properly may take longer than November. (Oops, did I let out the secret of what lies deep in the mine?)

We are there 10/26-11/2... It will be fun to dream of a slight possibility. I am not surprised there is a push for November 2013, given reports of lower than expected sales bump from FLE last fall....having this open for holiday season would be a nice for Disney. Plus, if they are going to do something at DHS like all are rumoring, wrapping this up would be nice too...

What about that fairly tale hall thingy...where are the rumored openings...we are in spring 2013...should be some status on it...

Looking at May 2014 so if November is the "guess" then by May it should definetly be up.

Dont know what this ride is all about but it is another to ride:)

Test Track's official opening was March 17, 1999. I was able to ride it during soft openings right before Christmas in December 1998. Never say never : )

I happened to be there also! It was my last day before returning home. The line streched all the way through Commnicore. I think I waited about 4 hours to ride, I've never waited that long for any type of theme park ride. But I can say I rode Test Track on its first day open.

What are you guys trying to do.... make me rethink my plans to do DLR this December? A November opening would really tempt me!

Any chance for a soft open for my quick stop in June? ;)

While I think it is doubtful that it will be offically opened by November, I think it is probable that it will be in soft open mode by then

As I understand it, there's a massive mechanical Evil Queen holding a giant poison apple who makes a close sweep (pushing that apple) at each mine car as it passes.

So, positively NOTHING can go wrong!

But maybe they could just design one to stand there with a fan and strobe light on her so they wouldn't have to worry about it breaking!

I think it very possible, but I don't believe that it will happen in November I think more like December soft opening and the full opening in January of 2014. They are ahead of schedule on the construction but I don't think far enough where it will be November. I would definitely not be surprised if it happened in December or January though.

I think they are shooting for a soft opening during the early part of MVMCP.

Similar to how Beauty and the Beast Castle soft opened during MNSSHP in 2012.

Sucks for us since we are there the end of September. YO Disney lets get some overtime in and get this ride completed by time my family is vacationing.

If not we are going to be MAD. :rolleyes1

it would make sense for them to try to open it before the christmas and new year's crowds :)

So, I'm curious... What exactly qualifies as a "soft opening"? I'm going the first week in December and am curious if maybe we'll be there for a "soft opening". :confused3

That would be great if it were true. We will be there 2nd week of December, and I've been patiently waiting for this ride.

We were in MK over the weekend, the construction is moving quickly!! We're in WDW about every 2/3 weeks and we've seen a huge difference since we were last there in March. It seems as if they are ahead of schedule with the (rumored?) opening of early 2014. Based on how quickly the development is going, it seems a soft opening would be in December. Of course, that's assuming everything runs smoothly with the rides effects and what not.

I'm waiting ever so impatiently!
