Rumor: More discounts on the way??

I dont get it:confused3 ...why do you say that? and in bold?

My guess is that the poster means that deals will keep appearing as they monitor the amount of current reservations. If a lot of people cancel out at the 45 day mark (which is now, or soon, for a lot of the sale dates),
they offer more sales.
Which may be what we are seeing with the room only rate.

They ARE allowing the sale for 5 nights, but anything less wouldn't qualify.

For some reason I thought the CR was not included in 4/3 deal. I thought I read that somewhere.
It def isn't avail for our dates, or any of the dates I looked at for that matter. Guess you lucked out!

CR is included. I even just checked again to see if there was availability for the 4/3 and for our dates...there are wing rooms still available with the deal. I guess it depends on the time you are going and checking.

Mousesavers has now posted this discount along with a 25% off a platinum package deal.

OK this is really tempting for an all out splurge
How can I find out what Deluxe/villas are eligible? Is calling Disney the best option?

Boy this is an interesting code. Just checking for 1 night Feb 6 and I could not find one discounted room anywhere. I realized why when I checked what was available for a week. In booking for a week discounts were available, but the rates were not discounted on the weekends. Not at all. I don't think I have seen a code that only discounts certain day of the week before.

and the news about the new code, I was able to book a package that saves me about $100 for a 3-night mid-week stay.

thanks to the poster with the codes listed a few pages back.

:goodvibes

The 4/3 deal is only great if you want to stay exactly 7 nights. That eliminates a lot of potential guests, particularly return guests looking for fewer nights.

I'm sure Disney is monitoring 4/3 reservations and cancellations particularly guests who cancel at the final payment date.

Or if you're staying 6 nights. It's a significant discount for us and we're only staying 6 nights - plus we have 2 rooms so we're getting 2 $200 cards....

Ditto that...we are staying for 6 nights at CR MK view room with 10 day MWY tickets (might add no exp if it works out to a decent price with what we don't use), deluxe dining plan for 2 adults 1 jr 1 child 1 infant....and I saved huge...I couldn't have done it there at CR MK view without this discount.

My suggestion to everyone...play around with the numbers...each person's scenario is different.

I still don't think the new code announcement dismisses the idea of "free dinning" for us April and May travelers. If that was that case... why wouldn't they just include dates for April and May like they did with the 4/3 package?

As a May traveler... I'm not giving up hope just yet!

Disney seems to love releasing packages/codes on Thursdays (seriously... check out mousesavers' historical discounts page)... and sure enough... what day does Christmas fall on this year? :ssst: It seems like the PERFECT chance to release a "huge" package like this... maximum exposure.

Wow that 25% off is a GOOD deal on that...I would love to upgrade to a deluxe!

All that hype for not a whole lot! I have a package booked for 4/11 so it doesn't do my any good!!! I think Disney knows people will travel more for the 2nd half of the promotion period so they're trying to beef up the first half and get more people to book!

The new code doesn't work for us. We want to book 3 nights Fri - Mon and the deal isn't good for Fri & Saturday nights. Bummer! Still hoping for something. Maybe an AP rate.

You'd still get the discount on the Sunday night...it wouldn't be as much, but every little bit helps...:thumbsup2

OK I am on hold waiting to get the code applied- WHY IS THE ON HOLD SO LOUD???????????????????????/:headache:

WAAAHH- after waiting on hold for 12 minutes (and let me remind you it is not toll free) I was told that they system is down for magical enhancements. Please call back- but the codes are good. GRRR :headache:
