*Rumor* Iger at WDW

So do we think that when they eventually get to the Star Wars expansion that they will add a Star Wars character breakfast? I know they have them at SW Weekend, but I always thought it would do well all year long.

Whatever they do with Pixar land will most like involve rides that younger children can go on which is great. I helped my SiL plan her first trip with their 3.5 yr old this year. They insisted on doing a full day in HS (they were going with friends who wanted to go) and I felt bad telling her there wouldn't be much for my niece to do there...especially since she's terrified of a lot of things. The Alien part of GMR makes that ride not doable for her.

I think there will be a permanent Star Wars character meal probably. However it won't be the fab 5 characters dressed as Star Wars characters because apparently Kathy Kennedy doesn't like that crossover and that may not be back for SWW next year because she doesn't want it.

DHS is as much about shows as rides. Beauty and the Beaat, Little Mermaid, Stunt Show, Indiana Jones show, Disney Jr., Muppets 3D, Jedi Academy.... to say there is not much for a child to do there seems so odd to me. Sure, the park is in need of new attractions... but it's not as barren as some claim. Add time to check out the shops, sit down and eat, and then actually ride the couple of rides that youngin's can go on - and you have a pretty full day.

I'm sure there will be a Star Wars themed restaurant but I think a character breakfast would be great!! My only worry is if they still do SWW, would they want to make that exclusive to SWW? Then just use the restaurant as a themed table service restaurant the rest of the year.

That's my worry too. But it would definitely make sense to have one as a permanent fixture.

That's very true there are lost of shows. Unfortunately for my little niece she had to leave the Little Mermaid and The Indiana Jones stunt show because she was terrified! She obviously has some anxiety issues...but that's a whole other discussion. So while me telling my sister it HS wasn't a full day park for her specifically, I wouldn't necessarily tell that to everyone going. But my sis also said that they didn't really want to do too many shows, they wanted to go on rides. My niece loved TSMM and Beauty and the Beast though. I think HS would really benefit from a few more younger kid rides. And maybe another "thrill" ride.
