This hasn't been confirmed by a bus driver yet.:duck:

I was at Club Disney with my Wife last night. Our table mate was telling me that she was trying to make a ressie for this in November to celebrate her birthday. She said the CM told her that Club Villain was being re-themed to a star wars motif.

If this is true, I am glad that I got the chance to see it. It was a great time.

The whole point of building this FLEX Theater is so that it can easily be converted in a couple hours.

They were already doing a Disney Dance Party by day and Club Villain by night. Everything in there rolls, slides and converts easily. The LED screens and lighting change with a switch.

The theater is completely capable of doing several different themed events on a rolling basis. So CV could be Sat night, Star Wars could be Fri night or more, Kids dance party can come back during peak times in the daytime and still can handle even more.

Booking on these events are not available that far out and CMs probably have zero information unless booking is imminent so I wouldn't believe anything they say.

All I can say is Club Villian ROCKED and I hope they offer more themed events like this! I love how flexible the space is! We would definitely go to a Star Wars or maybe even a Marvel themed event - heck - I bet we would consider paying for a Fab Five event here too (maybe not as much as the elusive characters though!)...

The food and drinks and atmosphere was great and the group size was well suited for the area.

they may be a misunderstanding. When star wars land is open, they are going to have an upscale dinner theater experience in the land. but I have not heard that club villain was going to be star wars themed. I think the dance club will be coming back for the summer as it gets hot and it's a great place to take a break with kids. not sure if club villain will be going on during that time but one never knows

As a temporary thing until Star Wars land opens I think we could see a Star Wars dining experience in the flex theater. It's definitely not outside the realm of possibilities.

I think this is great, if true. And I would DEFINITELY love it if another part of "Star Wars Weekends" were to return; we enjoyed the "Feel the Force VIP Package" so much last year and will really be missing the various events when we visit next month.

Thanks for the share!

Yes it did and I'd pay for it again .... and again. One reason it is so good is that Disney has a group that KNOWS how to do this type of thing RIGHT! I would love for there to be many more like this. I rather do this type thing over a party any day.

Check out these events they do ... lots of videos of themes.

Nope...not one damn cent for upsells. No thank you.

There have been rumors for months about a Star Wars thing replacing Club Villain. They were particularly strong when CV seemed to be ending. I also think I heard of casting calls and/or actual rehearsals. I would love it.

I love Star Wars but I hope that they don't get carried away with too much turning into Star Wars. They need a good balance.

In general I agree with you. This is the one and only time I've ever done an upcharge event. I personally feel it was worth it, but I don't feel the others are. But I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea. Not to mention I won't be renewing this year, so that was kind of my last chance to do that event.

I'm happy for them to flex this as they see fit. I'd love to see more villain focus, but I'm not a big fan of upcharge events save for MVMCP and MNSSHP.

I am so excited to see Club Villain this Saturday!!! The reports have all been so great and I love the Villains, I would hate to see it leave altogether but could see how they could do certain days with SW and others with CV.

I think the announcement of the restaurant/bar in Star Wars Land makes this rumor even more believable. I could see a hard ticket Star Wars party in the flex theater providing a good testing ground for offering that might show up later in that restaurant. Not only would Disney get to try out and receive feed back on food and drinks before setting the menu (Skippers Canteen current rumors might make this though more appealing) but they could also start to test out the species that they hope to appear in the land. Figure out how interaction between a guest and an Ithorian might work or if the costumes and masks are received well by younger crowds. Granted all this is pretty forward thinking since we are still far out from the opening date but one can hope. I believe the rumor anyways since it is easy money for Disney.

Star Wars Land? Fireworks? New Shows? A possible dining experience until SWL is completed?

Love Star Wars but would have liked to have tried out CV in September

That's exactly how I feel. We loooove Star Wars, but with other Star Wars things going on in DHS, and the good reports of Club Villain, I would love to see Club Villain stay. It would be easy to overdo Star Wars (like Frozen has been overdone).
