Rumor about change of Coffee Supplier?

As much as I would love to see it happen...I won't hold my breath. We are another family that just makes our own in the room in the morning.

I've posted this in the past, if you are looking for good coffee, try one of the Joffrey stands. They have baristas who make mochas, cappacinos, and fresh coffee.
One at the lobby of Contemporary, one between the ferry and monorail at TTC, one over in AKingdom, one outside the Tower of Terror in Disney Studios and several around EPCOT, one near Ellen's ride, and 2-3 around the Showcase, one near England and the others scattered.
Try it, my dad is picky and he liked it. He also liked the Kona coffee at the Kona Island stand inside the Poly.
Try Joffreys, they are an outside company so they don't do the DDP.
They give me my mocha fix when I cant get my usual at home.

Because I swear it has twice the caffeine of every other brand! A lot of the Dunkin' Donuts locations near my office in Manhattan have switched to being Tim Horton's; I got a medium iced coffee from TH once and felt like I was going to jump out of my skin for the rest of the afternoon. I felt like I could've run a marathon, that's how hyped up I was. And I can drink Dunkin', which makes my partner's heart race, with no problem.

Yup...there's an urban legend up here in Canada that they put nicotine in their coffee! Some people seriously believe this. Of course it's not true, but their coffee sure is strong and people just can't get enough of it!

Many, many years ago I worked in marketing at Wendy's Corporate (not long after they acquired TH). We had unlimited access to Tim Horton's coffee, and to this day I swear it's like the Crack Cocaine of all coffee. When I moved back to IL I went through withdraws that even starbucks couldn't break. That sweet, smooth rich flavor that draws you in - and unlike starbucks, you don't even know how hooked you are until it's too late. So many nights we would be working late, and I can still smell that pot brewing up the hall at 7 or 8PM. We would all stop what we were doing and go get a cup, but not before passing through two sets of doors, and walking 40 or more feet down the hall, and in to the kitchenette.

I remember after leaving my friend sent me an email once asking me if I missed working there, and I joking said I missed the free coffee/how I was addicted to it. She joked about it being the kind of coffee that if you called in sick, the coffee grounds would drive down the street, break in to your house, pick you up out of your bed, smack you in the face - and haul your backside in to work, but not before making a stop to pick up a cup. Now THAT is a cup of coffee.

That made me laugh hysterically!!! :rotfl2:

Such a great story...I would love to share it with my fellow Tim Hortons addicted co-workers! Luckily there seems to be a Tim Horton's on every block up here (including one right down the street from my work) so we're covered!

As per my previous post, there is an urban legend here in which Tim Hortons coffee has nicotine in it. It turns out that it is such a talked about myth that Tim Hortons felt the need to answer to this on their FAQ page!

People even talk about them putting nicotine in their cups!

You should consider ordering Tim Hortons coffee to brew at home. Although, then again maybe you don't want to be addicted again!

In the fall, there was an article on miceage.com that stated that Disney Corporate was in discussions with Starbucks to place a Starbucks shop at Disneyland...wonder if this might be the source of the WDW rumor?

Nescafe is owned by Nestle.

Nestle sponsors The Land. (At least I believe they do).

Disney is not going to stop buying Nescafe unless Starbucks starts paying the electric bills for Soarin'

I was recently on an Adventures by Disney trip that made a stop at the Walt Disney Studios in California. While in the Frank G. Wells building to visit the Disney Archives, I noticed that they have a Starbucks INSIDE the building. I found it odd. I wouldn't rule out Starbucks on other Disney properties in the future ... :rolleyes1

From wikipedia ...

On February 13, 2009, Nestle pulled out of sponsorship, leaving the Land without a sponsor.
