Rumor about “modified experiences” when Disney reopens (read 1st post for potential modifications being considered)

If anyone got sick after being at Disney they would have stated that. No matter how many times you try to manipulate to your opinion, its not gonna change.

Folks living a healthy lifestyle should have no problems wearing masks. All the CMs will have them.

I live a healthy lifestyle. But even I know I'll faint trying to wear a mask in the heat and humidity of FL after hiking around a Disney park for a couple hours. Especially if the indoor theater attractions with their AC aren't opened.

That’s great! I think the resorts will start opening in the coming weeks. Could be wrong, I’m not in the hotel business.

It's really not worth arguing about for a number of reasons, but the idea that somehow the tens of thousands of people who were in WDW that weekend were magically free of a highly contagious virus that no one was protecting themselves from is...interesting. Talk about a bubble!

Maybe we've found the cure - everybody just has to go to WDW and hunker down there, and then NOBODY will have the virus! Pixie dust for everybody!!

The parks aren't going to hit the reduced capacity levels with resort guests. I don't think there's any way they allow resort guests to come, then tell them they can't go to a park. My guess is the worry will be getting people to come, not too many people coming.

my guess it may be a park not the one you wanted. MK could be closed but another still has room so you could go there but not MK

Looking forward to hopefully kicking my feet up outside my camper at Ft Wilderness, in June, more than 6' away from everyone and watching it all. No AP tickets for the parks, we are Silver.

Between the serious lack of testing (especially compared to now), the sometimes very long incubation period of the virus, as well as the number of people running around asymptomatic, there’s no way to say for sure COVID-19 wasn’t being spread in the last few days the parks were open.

It really doesn’t matter at this point. We know what the virus has the potential to do.

my guess it may be a park not the one you wanted. MK could be closed but another still has room so you could go there but not MK

50% capacity is a pretty busy park. I think the chances they’ll be that busy are next to nothing. I’m surprised they set the limit so high.

Am wondering if Disney will update online menus and ask guests to look at the menu online if possible? Or, more likely I think, they'll sanitize each menu after use. Which wouldn't be a bad thing at all! I hate picking up a menu and grabbing onto a mystery sticky substance...

There was some chatter from someone or their friend who had a Disney conference in June and Disney, while offering refunds to guests, would not refund conferences. Disney had told the conference organizer they would hold them to the contract if they were open.

You are doing Disney’s job for them. All really great points a lot of people probably wouldn’t think of. I wouldn’t have thought about the menu thing, people sneezing and coughing and getting their grubby hands all over them.
