I thought phase 4 was back to normal with no measuresIf they don’t open until phase 3 there would be no reason . If I remember correctly Phase 3 calls for no social distancing or silly mask.

The funny thing is San Diego parks put out what the plans they are implementing and every dismissed it.I assuming this was directed at me. I think Disney will have quite a few changes because of this. Trying to keep people at a distance will definitely be one. IMO masks won’t. And QR code’s definitely won’t. But people keep looking to Shanghai like it’s a precursor for everything Disney will do here. It won’t be and honestly even referencing Shanghai means very little. Comparing what smaller parks do in the US has more validity then Shanghai.

I don't think that will make a difference. Most GP will look at as all parks are the same and should have most of the same safety measures in place.California and Florida have different requirements for their reopen plans.

Read what it was a reply to and it makes sense. Has nothing to do with security and cameras at the parks. People were talking about how we should just institute QR code’s here. This shows how much China tracks people to be able to give the green code. So it’s showing people they don’t understand what they are signing up for If they want QR code’s to get into a Disney park in the US. But there are a lot of people on this board who takes what Shanghai does and thinks it is the playbook for everything that is going to happen in the parks here.
It does if people keep saying Disney will institute QR code’s. I would imagine 99% of people on here agree that institution of that would be a big violation of privacy so not sure how that is considered political.Got it, so the article you linked is not relevant at all to the park openings. Let's keep on topic and leave the political stuff off this thread.
No one is saying to institute QR codes. The other measures Shanghai is doing, like social distancing in queues and how parades are going to work is a good indication of what will most likely happen here.It does if people keep saying Disney will institute QR code’s. My Very first response was in reply to THIS post.I read that the Shanghai Dosney resort requires a green QR code for entry, among other things. Will that work here in America? I know a lot of people worry about being tracked with that sort of thing. If we can't get QR tracking, will the be able to reopen?
Just watching parents with their kids in Target today. Let's hope this isn't indicative of how it will be at Disney.
The mom or dad stood on the marker on the ground to allow six feet between people in line...but instead of standing next to parent, the children were scattered around backing up into the people 6 feet behind them.
This should work out great for Disney.![]()
Just do a fake cough they will corral them real fast.Just watching parents with their kids in Target today. For some reason tons of families there today. Let's hope this isn't indicative of how it will be at Disney.

It is entirely relevant. For the QR code system to mean anything and be effective, there would need to be incredibly invasive information collected.Got it, so the article you linked is not relevant at all to the park openings. Let's keep on topic and leave the political stuff off this thread.
Lol. I read a funny comment online somewhere “I used to cough to hide a fart, now I fart to hide a cough!”Just do a fake cough they will corral them real fast.
Saw a guy wearing a mask today... over his mouth. Just his mouth. *facepalm*
Its reasons like that and the " its doesn't affect me so why should I care" attitude why there will be a huge jump in cases when theme parks open. Add in the spoiled Disney families who act like they can do what they want cause they spent big bucks. Like I said before it really isn't hard to stay 6 ft from others. Then again most GP don't know how to understand the simple step of seatbelt first then lap bar on a coaster.Just watching parents with their kids in Target today. Or the people that drive with them on, or walking alone. Shows how ignorant people are. These are the same ones that won't have a clue on any policy Disney has in place when they show up.I've seen a lot of that here, too. Or people in stores who have pulled the mask all the way down so it's wrapped around their necks. If they're going to do that, they might as well just take them off.
Where in Florida are gators only 6 feet long?
