I am just curious about the Priority Seating thing.

What happens if you are late? Are you out of luck? How long will they hold your PS? There are many things that could delay you in getting to the restaurant in time, how strict are they with the times?

What if you made the PS for 3 people but then only 2 go for the meal? Does it matter?

What if you REALLY want a table with a view, will they allow you to wait or do you have to take the next available table?

Sorry if these are silly questions, I just wanted to know.

Usually being 10-15 minutes late poses no problem, you'll still have almost top-of-the-list priority. But, longer than that and you'll probably be pushed back in the queue a bit - you'll still be seated before the walk-ups but it will just take a little longer.

Showing up with less folks is never a problem. Even showing up with one, or two, extra hardly ever slows things down.

Most all restaurants will almost always let you have any table you wish, but you're going to have to wait. And it can be a loooong wait at busy times where many folks all want "a view".

Depends on the restaurant. They want you to plan on being there 10 minutes early for this reason. Some restaurants your spot will be given away and you'll be told no luck (we saw this happen at a Princess breakfast - and it was quite sad - don't do this to little girls at a Princess breakfast). Some will be able to seat you shortly after getting there.

Usually this is fine - the other way (from 2 to 3) can be a problem. Do remember that if you had a reservation for three, they planned on using a "four top" and if you show up with two they will probably put you at a "two top." Which means someone who needed a table that seats four didn't get it when they called cause it was booked. But stuff happens.

Depends. Rose and Crown will not let you wait for an Illuminations table. California Grill may or may not let you wait for a table for Wishes - usually not. They simply wouldn't get people sat or fed (those two restaurants are horrible for "fireworks campers" - you'd be amazed how many people can get seated at six and still be lingering over dessert at nine.) Most Disney restaurants really don't have much of a "view."
