Rules around changes to reservations with FD

Hi All,
Can't wait to book FD tomorrow -

But we don't know how we are getting there yet. Coming from Texas we would prefer to fly, but if we can't find affordable fares we will drive.

Based on our method of transportation we will have different dates.....

So what's the rules around changing your reservation after it's booked? I *think* I can drop days at the end without any trouble, but can I drop days at the start?

If we drive we will go over these days:
11/16 - 11/24

If we fly we will go over these days:
11/15 - 11/23

a one day shift......

Can I book 11/15 - 11/24 and then drop either a day at the start or end depending on how we get there?

I would suggest booking the 15-24th, that way you know you have the days you may need and up till 45 days you can change any reservations with no penatly.

Still available with the promotion when you make the change - yes.

If that day isn't available you can still drop a day and keep the promotion.

I would suggest booking the 15-24th, that way you know you have the days you may need and up till 45 days you can change any reservations with no penatly.

If you book the 15-24, you'd already have the days covered, so you could drop a day of each end and not have to worry about availability.

Yes, and I would definitely book for the maximum number of nights and change as needed. You can always drop any nights you don't need, but it's not as easy to add nights because what you need might not be available later on.
